I canceled my netflix subscription due to the referenced show, Cuties. The main focus and characters of the story were 4th graders. Dressed scantily and with adult make-up and dance moves.
4th graders. Ages 9 and 10.

Couldn't get past first episode when supposedly awesome martial artist fl, who is tiny in stature, lost her balance and footing (unintentionally) while subduing 2 heavy bad guys.
Blew that whole suspension of disbelief necessity in one take.

I believe a spin off show of Sa Wol and Mr. Hong is in order.....

Sa Wol catches the chicken and toothily grimaces at Mr. Hong: "She smiled at me!"

I am thinking that Grandpa is the bad guy in this timeline and the past.

The designer will certainly benefit from the exposure.
I am in the art world and original work not derived from existing work is by far in the smallest minority.
That said, they should have asked permission as it was so literally taken from her work.

I distinctly remember the drama scene where they showed the designs on a ground of yellow paper taped to a window and I was thinking how uninspired the cut and unfortunate the color combinations were. No designer here and it's just my opinion.
This issue could have been handled more professionally by all parties involved.

I think he is going to support the couple against bad Mom; just my feeling from the beginning. A damaging upbringing but he seemed able to appreciate the kindness/compassion and wished to return it.
