I can't tell you how many times I have wished 16 episodes had been 12. No draggy middle or thrown in cliche tropes to fill the gap.
Just quality plot execution and story.

I loved how he half applauded when Sa Wol captured the chicken, then he moved so that a piece of furniture was between him and the chicken.

Some of us noted that throwback feel, too. In a good way like many Korean dramas of 2016.

Also surprised by this year old show; just not a stand out show in any regard other than wasting talent. Fl looked unhealthy to me.

Thinking the same! 2016 was a Golden Year for Korean Dramas.

I think the good guy relative will end up being his step brother. Not a good guy at his core maybe, too traumatic childhood, but will battle on his behalf against bad girl, Mom.

I really feel the director/producers made an error here. They are overly focused on the beauty of the leads and how to best show it that there is less focus on the art of the drama and delivering the plot.
I am enjoying it, it just doesn't hit on all cylinders for me. (Park's Marriage Contract does; leads are very attractive but so is the story.)

I am watching and enjoying both; so far, Park's is the one I am anxiously anticipating.

This lovely drama reminds me why I wait until they air the entire thing before I watch.

It looks by the preview as though we will get to see more of her role as designer which I was hoping for at the conclusion of this episode; fulfilling her dreams that were difficult to accomplish in Joseon.

Yeah, Grandpa is bad guy. That employee girl is a sociopath.

Grandpa is a bad dude. I think he killed Tae Ha's Mom and is eyeing Yeon Woo as well. He doesn't like when the women mess up the plans he has for his son and grandson. Just guessing, of course.
