Omo…I just started ep1 I’ve been pleasantly surprised many times before but this is the first time I felt like I cheated on my husband. 😆 Seen him in a few dramas but I was NOT expecting that underneath 😲 lmao but seriously Yumm.
Actually a few staffs there would be considered locals. I would say the obvious Europeans here would be because…
I think you may just need to watch ep 1 again. Locals in these areas have mix heritage from Western Asia & Africa but majority have the olive complexion or the caucasian look. I’m pretty sure some deep European roots can be traced back to Western Asia. There are indigenous blacks in these areas but they don’t make up in large numbers. I travel a lot (although not much in this area) & I think the idea or mindset that people still think blacks or dark skin people make up a lot of these low job positions in mix race populated countries is very outdated.
I am confused. If the first hotel is in Western Asia, why are all the staff European and not darker skinned?
Actually a few staffs there would be considered locals. I would say the obvious Europeans here would be because the hotel chain itself is European. 🤷🏻♀️ Positions could be transfers or staff placement or recruitments from their other hotels.
I started this based on the positive comments. I am just taking a moment to pause because I am cringing so hard…
Damn was actually trying to figure out where I’ve seen her but was too lazy to look at her profile 😆 Gosh she must love these stealing husband roles not to mention mistreating these cheating men after winning them lol I somehow don’t find her hateful knowing that lol
Me too. But I'm sorry, I will not be watching any Zhu Zhu dramas in the future I'm afraid bc she grated on my…
Cheating partner isn’t worth traumatising over….its only trauma if you let it but here FL wasn’t completely unscathed as this issue became a commitment issue for her towards the end. This was brought up a few times.
Also I think a lot failed to remember that FL has a Bachelor degree in Hotel Management before giving it up to be a trophy wife. This was highlighted when she was hunting for work. She’s got the paper to pack up all them promotions regardless how she got them. She spoke multiple languages & her 10 yr marriage wasn’t a dud either. She understood luxury, knows brands & what’s good for high spenders…she attended many business dinners & events for her husband, she helped entertained many important clients, bosses plus their wives. She stayed in high end hotels so understood the clients point of view. And don’t forget ML may have been supporting her but that’s because he was also using her by putting her into these roles. He was dealing with corruption & opponets against him but he knew FL wasn’t at least one of their people. She was a tool he used to exposed or oppressed a lot of the underhand dealings without being directly involved while fully aware that it would exposed her to hate, rumours & criticism. Against advice from his friend knowing he’s throwing her in the deep end or to fail but he did it anyways. He of course realised along the way that she was indeed very competent & helped her in ernest. This starts his progress on character growth & love. Regardless she got thrown in mud & her lack of resume work experience on paper in those 10 years didn’t deter her from having the competence she already had. This is literally the whole point of her epoch…a turning point she used well.
Was actually pleasantly surprised the review sections had quite the number of good Reviews written. I was frustrated after completing this at how many ppl in the comments simply don’t understand it. This drama was actually a good watch. Character growth was good…don’t believe the bias nonsense. If you truly understand growth then don’t forget to add the character’s background. Here it’s so complex nearly every character had growth…heck it had more growth than a farm on steroids. If you say you saw no growth then you simply don’t understand the meaning of the word. Yes…Romance is slow burn…very slow (don’t expect anything in this slow stage)….but chemistry was worth the wait…yup their getting together is in fact better than a lot I’ve seen. Didn’t matter to me with this drama as the business aspect was already good to keep you entertained but it was somewhat a treat. Honestly people complaining about “too much” business in a drama that literally has its main genre tag as “Business” is laughable 🫣 Some of y’all should read drama tags before wasting your precious time ….honestly…I learnt it saves me a lot of fustrations starting new dramas. I can see other negative complaints have some valid points…it is what it is, not everyone needs to love on all dramas & I can see some simply may find it hard following the plot’s intensions. But some of y’all…..utter non-sense SMH
Honestly not my cup of tea but this drama isn’t as bad as what everyone seems to be on about….I don’t even think the ratings matched or deserving considering. The romance isn’t that great, a big draggy but it’s there…it can be enjoyable if you don’t take it too seriously…I did like the oldest siblings romance but sucks it felt rushed in the end. Why did production & writer packed in way too many characters then continue to show many unnecessary scenes without focusing on completing each character’s plot line? In the end it just felt like they overestimated their load work. But even with all these it was still a decent plot to trot along with. I especially enjoyed the family dynamic though…some very good lessons to learn there. I too grew up with step siblings and it irritated us a lot when ppl pointed out our last names or looks not to mention if they pointed out we were “step” siblings….we were raised as full siblings & the word “step” was taboo in my family , so I totally understand the overprotective love dynamic there. Overall if you feel the ratings may deter you to start this then don’t be. This really is one of those show where viewers are being bias for the oddest things instead of the overview drama.
Was wondering why the ratings dropped till I watched the last episode. I knew straight away cause MDL loves a proper ending 🤭 But I could see why viewers would be disappointed cause it was indeed lacking…they were focusing on so many other things perhaps a setup for a season 2 - (mainly with the fishing character & his unborn lover). All that in ep 40 would be such a treat if the leads reunion wasn’t too brief since that was the most anticipated part….there was just alot to show but not enough time there.
1. Happy ending2. There is romance but only subplot3. No love tringle4. No break up. 5. No misunderstanding. There…
She knew her memories were erased some episodes later…she found out why very soon after that but she didn’t get it back till towards the end but by then it didn’t matter.
did i miss something or when was Kim Young-tak was shown? from my research he has the ability to stop time.
Shown? You mean when he went to the same school? I remember they showed him when they were telling the home teacher’s story of how he was sent there as an agent to study the students. Young-tak was one of the ones he studied there before he was transferred. It was a very brief scene & Youn-Tao’s face wasn’t revealed but it showed his teacher nagging him abt being a senior & he stopped the time to skipped over it 😆 I think it was the episode when the parents went to the school at night to investigate if there were other kids with powers there. Probably ep 16 or 17
So this has major special effects - does it have content? What's the catch? Disney never makes real kdramas. So…
The stories & their characters ….watch it and you’ll know. I don’t even like this genre but saw some clips online and it lead me to watch it. The only fantasy/supernatural drama I ever gave a 10 to. It’s been awhile (I’m here to re-watch) but I don’t remember anything bad abt the special effects. I was just as shocked that only Disney had the rights at the time.
I also start comparing it with Moving without realizing I did lol
Can’t help it lol both have an adorable, kind, not very bright but strong fav character 🤭 Not to mention one of the lead’s power of immortality being important in the plot. There is plenty more to compare but Moving is like the super high definition in quality version. lol
Guys i have a question, in season 2, there were 3 students who took imperial exam. One of them was hou ji chan.…
He’s just overly cautious…Wangli was certainly the book smart out of the group but Houji was the street smart. He would be best fitted as a spy tbh…the guy likes to gather information before entering into any situation.
The one I’m more curious about is the 4th guy….if you’ve been paying attention to this trio have you noticed they kept mentioning a guy name Cheng or something and he’s never there….they are actually a group of 4 not 3…even Fan knows about him but this Cheng guy was either sleeping, working or going to get bread for them 😆 Used to frustrate me every time I re-watch this drama. They mentioned that Cheng guy a lot…literally in every scene these guys were in & we never saw him. lol But there’s got to be a reason why they did all that so I’m waiting to see if they clarified in season 3 maybe. If not then the drama was just trying to give us a hide and seek headache of a mystery to chase 🙄
After rewatching the first 2 seasons, this one felt like it was missing something. Although I really liked this…
Yup…same thing a wrote. -Season 1 was her Passionate Love filled with jealousy, mania & obsession
-Season 2 was her Unconditional Love…she gave him all of her which is why it broke her to no-turning back when she found out his wasn’t as conditioned as she believed.
Although both earlier seasons ended on low notes but she felt alive in those….she cried, she experienced intense chemistry, she argued & she broke down to nearly killing off her cells for them. Heck her cells visited both her exes cells when dating…this season only ML cells went over to hers.
-Season 3…is her Content Love. She settle into it while never pushing her limits in emotions. Her man loves her more than she does…so she’s happy & simply content with its balance.
That’s often the reality for most people which is why I’m okay with this one. Not as fun to watch but I guess we can be content for a happy ending as well.
They had a whole episode to close up the “hidden girl” plot line…..showed her entered the palace to speak with the Queen & showed her later getting arrested being led into the police station infront of angry crowd & reporters.
ngl I like this season but it most definitely lacked a lot for me in comparison to the first 2. 😩😩💁🏻♀️ First 2 seasons she went crazy, cried, got mad & even zombie out almost killing her cells due to those relationships & even though she left in the end we all saw her alive through her cells.
Season 1 was possessive love…she was always paranoid, jealous & passionate about her man. Season 2 felt more like chemistry or obsession love….Babi got her real broken…this is that ONE that got away. She loved him so much that she couldn’t overlooked his little mishap. She gave every single bit of her to him so the hurt was more damaging than it should be when she felt betrayed so I understood her completely when towards the end she said she knew she fell out of love when she saw the name on the phone but she didn’t feel anything. She just couldn’t help feeling broken.
But season 3 feels like her comfortable love. A relationship she’s content with. Even his cells were the only ones trying to cross over & towards the end she was more worried abt how ‘SHE’ feels about the relationship moving forward & non about his stance because she’s already certain about his love. I guess this is how complicated people settled down in real life too…often with someone that loves them more than they do.
Seen you’ve been hating on the drama 😆 I almost agreed with you till I saw your other comment. I actually mainly rated this high because of directing & scenes visuals overall…it brought back my love for costume dramas (which I’ve been bored of for months due to recent dramas) Yes…the plot itself I felt is overhyped but still good. The lead I found more interesting is the FL even though ML actually acted differently in this drama and was more in depth with being a badass but caring character.
But why do you care how the production promotes or how people love on the drama? In the end majority of the viewers were happy & productions did good making their dollar. The drama performance ..if you are a legit critic is deserving of its hype. Production, OST, costume, actors & Director did a great job regardless if you like the plot or not. Based on how you’re commenting…YOU just sound like a hater troll with no real basis.
A parent’s cry for their child is something I can never hear without breaking a little.
Ep 10.
Satisfied with old man’s punch in the very end 👏🏼
Son in law would have been proud 😁
