Title Moving
So this has major special effects - does it have content? What's the catch? Disney never makes real kdramas. So…
The stories & their characters ….watch it and you’ll know.
I don’t even like this genre but saw some clips online and it lead me to watch it.
The only fantasy/supernatural drama I ever gave a 10 to.
It’s been awhile (I’m here to re-watch) but I don’t remember anything bad abt the special effects.
I was just as shocked that only Disney had the rights at the time.

I also start comparing it with Moving without realizing I did lol
Can’t help it lol both have an adorable, kind, not very bright but strong fav character 🤭
Not to mention one of the lead’s power of immortality being important in the plot.
There is plenty more to compare but Moving is like the super high definition in quality version. lol

Guys i have a question, in season 2, there were 3 students who took imperial exam. One of them was hou ji chan.…
He’s just overly cautious…Wangli was certainly the book smart out of the group but Houji was the street smart.
He would be best fitted as a spy tbh…the guy likes to gather information before entering into any situation.

The one I’m more curious about is the 4th guy….if you’ve been paying attention to this trio have you noticed they kept mentioning a guy name Cheng or something and he’s never there….they are actually a group of 4 not 3…even Fan knows about him but this Cheng guy was either sleeping, working or going to get bread for them 😆
Used to frustrate me every time I re-watch this drama.
They mentioned that Cheng guy a lot…literally in every scene these guys were in & we never saw him. lol
But there’s got to be a reason why they did all that so I’m waiting to see if they clarified in season 3 maybe.
If not then the drama was just trying to give us a hide and seek headache of a mystery to chase 🙄

After rewatching the first 2 seasons, this one felt like it was missing something. Although I really liked this…
Yup…same thing a wrote.
-Season 1 was her Passionate Love filled with jealousy, mania & obsession

-Season 2 was her Unconditional Love…she gave him all of her which is why it broke her to no-turning back when she found out his wasn’t as conditioned as she believed.

Although both earlier seasons ended on low notes but she felt alive in those….she cried, she experienced intense chemistry, she argued & she broke down to nearly killing off her cells for them.
Heck her cells visited both her exes cells when dating…this season only ML cells went over to hers.

-Season 3…is her Content Love.
She settle into it while never pushing her limits in emotions.
Her man loves her more than she does…so she’s happy & simply content with its balance.

That’s often the reality for most people which is why I’m okay with this one. Not as fun to watch but I guess we can be content for a happy ending as well.

I mean it’s not overly amazing…. Perhaps I was comparing it too much to that similar drama ‘Moving (2023) ’…..but it was certainly a fun watch.

They had a whole episode to close up the “hidden girl” plot line…..showed her entered the palace to speak with the Queen & showed her later getting arrested being led into the police station infront of angry crowd & reporters.

ngl I like this season but it most definitely lacked a lot for me in comparison to the first 2. 😩😩💁🏻‍♀️
First 2 seasons she went crazy, cried, got mad & even zombie out almost killing her cells due to those relationships & even though she left in the end we all saw her alive through her cells.

Season 1 was possessive love…she was always paranoid, jealous & passionate about her man.
Season 2 felt more like chemistry or obsession love….Babi got her real broken…this is that ONE that got away.
She loved him so much that she couldn’t overlooked his little mishap.
She gave every single bit of her to him so the hurt was more damaging than it should be when she felt betrayed so I understood her completely when towards the end she said she knew she fell out of love when she saw the name on the phone but she didn’t feel anything. She just couldn’t help feeling broken.

But season 3 feels like her comfortable love. A relationship she’s content with.
Even his cells were the only ones trying to cross over & towards the end she was more worried abt how ‘SHE’ feels about the relationship moving forward & non about his stance because she’s already certain about his love.
I guess this is how complicated people settled down in real life too…often with someone that loves them more than they do.

Overrated and overhyped 🤦‍♀️
Seen you’ve been hating on the drama 😆
I almost agreed with you till I saw your other comment.
I actually mainly rated this high because of directing & scenes visuals overall…it brought back my love for costume dramas (which I’ve been bored of for months due to recent dramas)
Yes…the plot itself I felt is overhyped but still good.
The lead I found more interesting is the FL even though ML actually acted differently in this drama and was more in depth with being a badass but caring character.

But why do you care how the production promotes or how people love on the drama?
In the end majority of the viewers were happy & productions did good making their dollar.
The drama performance ..if you are a legit critic is deserving of its hype.
Production, OST, costume, actors & Director did a great job regardless if you like the plot or not.
Based on how you’re commenting…YOU just sound like a hater troll with no real basis.

Just read…it’s the most promising update I’ve seen so far even if it hasn’t been confirm officially.
Since the actors are stating their return then I’m just happy that it’s still on the books regardless.
I was certain by now that it would never happen so this is good news indeed 🤗

I want to watch this but saw third season is yet to air, should I wait? I hate cliffhangers or incomplete endings.
Me too..lol
I watched this a few years back to check out what’s the fuss…I only intended to watch a bit while having lunch.
I couldn’t put it down 😆
It’s still worth it even though the cliffhanger is tough to swallow.
But I just saw someone mentioned Season 3 was just announced…so I’ll re-watch both 2 seasons now available closer to S3’s release date.

If you’re having withdrawals from this drama & can’t wait for season 2 I highly suggests watching Joy of Life.
I’ll say 80% similar concept.
It’s also higher viewers & ratings as well

It’s high speculation that she is from the future. CPR might be in China history going back but mouth to mouth…
Nice…I’m currently only reading the 2nd life part of the novel 😆 someone put the link and I haven’t stopped lol

guys what are ur most fav cdrama of all time like cdramas got me hooked lately and i wanna watch them so badly…
Other dramas Well worth the watch. Similar to this drama

-A Dream of Splendor
-A Journey to Love
-Legend of the female General
-The Rebel Princess
-Story of Kunning Palace
-When Destiny Brings the Demon

My favs though are a little different.
I preferre highly intelligent plots & very smart Leads (both FL & ML)
I love twisted schemes that are unpredictable but satisfying watching them unfold.

- Nirvana in Fire (many might not like because it lacks romance) but even if you don’t like the genre it is a must.
Watch 3 episodes and you’ll be hooked guaranteed

-Story of Miglan
This one is tricky (slow in the beginning) I dropped it 3 times at first 😆…by ep 25 I knew i was going to be obsessed.
Highly intelligent leads..probably the best schemes in any drama apart from Nirvan in Fire.
Then they went and did that magnificent twist toward the end in any drama which inevitably made this my number 1 costume drama ever of all time.

-Joy of Life
You might not like the ending to this one because it’s a cliffhanger that should continue on to the next season…I check weekly for updates and it’s been years 😆 but this one is not rated high for no reason. It’s that good

-The Double
What can I say…intelligent both leads & strong ML
This one you must not missed if you love a pursuit in Jade

-Yanxi Palace
Another controversial masterpiece. It’s not like most romance costume dramas. 🤭 but the FL is extremely smart, probably the most scheming character as FL- mostly with good intentions & she doesn’t shy from playing dirty.

finally done and I loved this😭kinda sad that they didn’t add maybe 2 extra eps to show Changning and Bao’er…
It’s high speculation that she is from the future.
CPR might be in China history going back but mouth to mouth may not be part of that.
She’s a single unmarried mother who became a successful businesswoman….something women that era would avoid in shame yet she strived to be just that.
She also played those drinking games.
She’s big on cavity too..I’m not even sure back then they would have connected sweets with bad teeth.
When asked in the end she only stated she was from a far far away place & she may not be able to get back.
She could be a spin off story for the writer later 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think this is because the true villan to the story wasn’t really important in a sense here.He was already…
Yes…the moment Prince Qi & Qian were hanging he recalled that she once told him that his sins was the he never learnt to let go.
So his final act was letting go to die alone.

The uncle was left the only single person alive (due to him killing everyone else) that knew what truly happened 17 years ago so in the end he was fittingly the one that unfolded the story of truth.
He trained & fostered his nephew to become such a force showing very little affection towards him as a kid & all the while teaching him to avenge his parents….but he knew he was the person he needed his nephew to avenge against.

The Li grand tutor who tattled on his close friends to the evil Emperor for elevation of status & riches was also left with nothing & no title.
His last scene was full of his regrets saying “he became the bad guy for nothing” in the end.

Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
the ending was too rushed and disappointing like we waited for nothing. Yes we can't condemn the whole story only…
I think this is because the true villan to the story wasn’t really important in a sense here.
He was already delt with & this whole drama was the aftermath of survival with 17 years of mistakes, obsessions then uncovering the truth that followed.
So the end is mainly focussed to putting the pieces together.
Throughout the drama we the viewers were constantly being led to uncover who exactly to put the blame & tittle of villan on but we all discovered that all those seemingly evil characters were all once good people that later due to an orchestration from the true villan became obsessed in their vengeance to cover for survival, to avenge & for shameless greed that all went wrong.
Which is why I think in the end the writer added a different life line to showcased that without the true villains plans they would all be different.

to be frank 9.1 is already too high
8.5 is high….anything above that could be considered a masterpiece.
The ratings will keep dropping since a lot haven’t finished and put in their votes.
Even 1K people voting 9 ratings would drop it little by little.
At this stage you don’t judge the actual ratings.
You judge by how many watchers(voters) & compared it to the rates.
A rating 9.1 especially after a drama finish airing is very impressive and rare already.

In MDL if you check the highest rating dramas you will notice that they don’t position them by the ratings but by their watchers.
Judging by how good this drama is I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up sitting comfortably at around 8.8 rating

One of the most popular dramas rated here is 8.8 with over 300k voters….this drama only has around 30k plus voters so it’ll be hard to maintain the highest rating with more people voting later.
