I’m on Ep 30 ….now usually when there’s a 2nd lead involved in a love triangle with the mains it gets me so annoyed cause it’s often just a one sided obsession. Here we were all cheering the mains even though the love triangle was literally accurate to its name. With the other guy you can see it….you can feel it, heck their chemistry was sparkling with yearnings and you really want to hate it yet somehow pity its progress. The saying goes…’.you snooze you loose ‘ will be a painful lesson for 2ML. A determined better man will of course take the prize
The real ending is in the very first scene of the drama. Go back to it and you'll know who won.
Yeah no..not what I ment either. Your comment helped me understood that part but I too was left disappointed that they put all these characters (like female general) in with no ending to its plot direction. It’s almost like production went all in for the long run but got cut short. It could be that it’s a very different & sexualise taste from the normal mainstream.

Yes May be the case between the Queen & Prince ….but the 3rd army with old female general is waiting nearby to attack the depleted winner. So technically a season 2 is highly needed
This is my first time seeing the ML as a Main….darn it at first I was like wow he is beautiful but later got so caught up with his acting. The making of a great lead is the eyes expressions and he’s got it down packed. I’m just baffled why he I haven’t seen him in these roles till now.
Came across this by accident on Netflix & at first I was confused thinking it was a younger Lee Je Hoon especially when this is his genre as well 🤭 Then I noticed it was a 2025 drama & the. they showed the 1st time he looped in school and I finally noticed it was Bai Jing Ting 🤦🏻♀️ Slow day for me but my goodness I realised they look kinda the same especially when they act a badass
Wow…I was certain Ren is never in a bad drama but the ratings seems unanimous. I guess I will have to skip this one…nothing irritates me more than the writing of a hopeless & dumb FL
She technically saved them…ML figured that out pretty early on not long after capturing her…his tune pretty…
Sorry but I think you’re miss-understanding my previous comment. -Her shooting that arrow & injuring the ML saved a lot of lives on both sides. (Which is why the mask guy wants her dead) The trap that she stopped by injuring the ML with that arrow would have literally killed everyone in his army. His army pulled back and avoided the trap altogether. The ML’s side were bound to loose regardless…Not a single person would have survived including the ML if they had fought their way inside those walls.
So by that in your prospective the chain of effects she created by shooting ML was positive in the end. The others that died because the group was weakened would have died anyways with or without her actions.
These guys are ignoring the most important fact, FL critically harmed ML, which led to their defeat. More people…
She technically saved them…ML figured that out pretty early on not long after capturing her…his tune pretty much went from beating & torturing her to working with her from then on. They were already suspicious from the assassins lying in wait & chasing them determined to kill him after they pulled back…in war it didn’t makes sense…defeat is called the sec you leave & ends there between 2 kingdoms. Upon investigating his men found out that there was a trap inside the city…a sacrificed aimed mainly at him. The other side weren’t fighting or defending for their territory…their whole goal was do whatever even destroying a whole city & its people along the way to kill him. So her action was then seen as good in some sense
WTFff.... how did ancient Chinese knew about CPR?! 🤦
CPR has been recorded in Ancient China for thousands of years….technique is perfected & refine now of course but back then even chess press was performed to save lives
I’m on ep 10. I usually share my opinion towards the end of any drama but I just have to come to say something. Seen my fair share of costume dramas but this one….this one has the most impressive visuals & scenic/set designs yet. Feast for the eyes…the attention to details is nothing but Art in every scene. I’m just in awe..especially the palace designs. Of course the view of the people is also divine 🤭
How? Which episode you’re in? Because there’s no way it’s boring …ep.26 is the craziest
Ep 26 is just the same trust issues starting over again. They clearly love each other and while both are intelligent people who have lived as husband & even brought their communications to telling the hard truths yet still keep running around the topic of loving each other even though their actions are clear of each other’s intentions. Like yeah…it’s cute & it’s understandable for a bit but it’s every episode since the divorce. The drama just went from a matured serious topic to comedy & teenage theme of I should but I shouldn’t. Nothing wrong with that but it doesn’t suit the ML drastic change of character. I’m on the p 27 and i just skipped the whole business talk again…her start-up is literally imputed into all the lead’s conversations yet avoiding the obvious. It just looks like they are gonna drag it till the end. Thought it’ll be something different in this drama from the others….I absolutely love the cast & maybe that’s the issue…expectations plus the one on one ep release isn’t ideal anymore
Is it just me? I want to love this, but I was struggling to find the chemistry between the leads, also didn't…
You’re not wrong on both things…yes it’s a good watch & people shouldn’t deter from enjoying it but the depth of the script in the romance department didn’t really show through. The chemistry wasn’t fully convincing & even though the last scene of him in the past heartbroken was perfection it wasn’t really believable considering they only shared just a few intimate moments together. Perhaps the drama wasn’t long enough but the focus was so much on the food that the romance looked more like best friends enjoying getting to know each other. Not that the food aspect was lacking…it too was the most enjoyable part for me. What truly disappointed me in this drama was the lack of explanations for it’s ending. Potholes were too many to take this seriously.
Kudos to the writers cause each lifetime issues they solved had a whole drama worthy ending. At first I thought the plot was moving nice but fast results then realised it was just a part of another bigger plot.
One thing I liked here is that the ML had strong powers that never diminished even at his weakest…even when he needed rest his powers was able to destroy anyone he wanted. Most similar dramas would have the lead’s power so disabled they easily get defeated or injured by lesser beings in fights. Here the only time he was overpowered is because he willingly let it. His real enemies never really injured him to the extreme.

The whole Production team should be commended
