I've a strong feeling that seokryu's response to seunghyo's confession will be in ep 10. And ep 11 would mark…
I have a feeling Seok Ryu's emotional outburst shown in the trailer, asking Seung Hyo if he has any idea how she feels, might be in ep. 10... and the scene ends with the hug also shown in the trailer.
Also looking forward to the scene where the parents get to know about their relationship.. hopefully it will be all 4 (or 5, if we include the brother) catching them being lovey dovey or something similar
With regards to the reoccurrence of Bae Seokryu's cancer and her having a limited time left, there currently had…
This is so bang on... exactly how I perceive the storyline and the characters to be too... this drama was never supposed to just focus on the romance aspect. I honestly find it easy to connect with and therapeutic the way the show deals with the concept of ambitions, life goals (what may be for the world in contrast to what an individual really craves for), family, friendship and love
End episode kiss in ep 10 then party in Seok Ryu's room 🤭
I did plus his parents are hardly ever home which is not how things are at the Bae house ... and neither of them would want a Dong Jin moment 2.0 either 😬
After watching ep 8, I released that FL loved her ex so much because he knows everything about her unlike her…
I don't know, I feel she was exhibiting the traits of being the eldest daughter of the family - she talks about wanting to relieve the brother-related stress of her parents by working at her US job, telling her friends would mean her family would know too, Seung Hyo would not have been able to keep this from her family and her ex-fiance was the only person she could rely on there so which is why maybe she told him. I don't think she is head over heels for him, but more like comfortable relationship where she could rely on him and ensure her family nor her friends needed to worry about her...
Haven't watched this weekend's episodes yet but spoiled myself with the deets... safe to say I'll be watching ep 7 and 8 on Friday because I don't think I have it in me to deal with the trauma of ep 8 ending for a week before ep 9 and 10 come out 😬😬.
I called it !! I was so sure 4 episodes in that she too had feelings for him, her minute changes in mood, her sulking whenever he picked a fight with her (esp. eps 1& 2) and the way she prioritised him over everything and everybody were such adorable clues to connect the dots.
I honestly like Seung Hyo's personality, he can be mature, is self-aware and understands himself (the time capsule letter scene is obviously an exception 🤭). I also like that he is unapologetically himself and sets boundaries that work for him. I'm sure his distant relationship with his parents influenced him in certain ways but I like how childish, grumpy, protective and vocal he is with Seok Ryu. The trust, support with a side of roasting in their relationship is what amps up their chemistry for me.
Read a lot of comments discussing the angst in a romcom genre drama, I honestly think angst comes hand in hand with the romance genre regardless of trope, with the subtext of "this person is precious to me and I don't want to lose this person, but also I need to tell this person how I feel" and its related twists... which is why I personally look forward to the angst regardless of whether it is mellow or rom-com genre.
Also, I am pretty sure Seung Hyo's father is aware of his feelings towards Seok Ryu since high school 🤭.
I am not ready for what ep. 9 holds but I am going to have faith in Jung Hae In when he says that the party begins with ep. 11 🤓
I miss them so much. Can the weekend come any faster :/ I ended up watching all their BTS and interview clips,…
I know right! I’m refraining from rewatching episodes as I want to binge all episodes together once the drama is finished but interviews and behind the scenes are how I am coping with the week-long gap too 🥲
