Also, I love how Seok Ryu thought of Seung Hyo when they showed the food to be cooked in class that day... the connected memory from their childhood is so precious too!

Such a heartwarming scene! The "going to prison together" dialogue really made me giggle haha

I feel like Seung Hyo is basically trying to organise his thoughts and such close proximity to Seok Ryu is not helping the situation. Their relationship is such where he knows she’s pretty thick-skinned - like the time when she broke into his room with an axe 🪓, so he feels the need to distance himself especially after the hug and after hearing her say that she still has feelings for her ex-fiancé. He always was grumpy, immature and cranky with her, basically himself. He’s not trying to hurt her but trying to salvage their friendship and protect himself from getting hurt.

This is such a beautiful description of the current state of affairs - for SR and her relationship with CS! 🤌🏼

I’m not so sure about that. The ep. 7 snippet Tvn released today somehow gives the vibe that Seung Hyo has made his stance clear and confessed his feelings to Seok Ryu.

I would love to see Seung Hyo stay true to his word now, about staying away from each other and minding their own business 🤭🤣

I think she had an affair... also, in that scene with the mom's friends mentioning a possible affair with regard to Seok Ryu's father, Seung Ho's mother chokes on her drink. Plus, I think that's the memory she wants him to forget.

Another take take as to why YG was angry, which I am surprised people are not taking into account - it was not easy for YG to see LYY be treated by her mother the way he was. The altercation she had with her sister after LYY left only made her frustrated and uneasy. She texted him to check on him, when she got no response for a while she went after him. Their ways of showing care are different, he is more physical and she is more verbal - so she wanted to talk and make him feel better and he wanted assurance that she still loved him. Neither is wrong, there was just hotheadedness and lack of communication. It’s good that they took the time to cool off and then make up. :))

From what I read in the novel, each of the parents has been married once before and have a son and a daughter from the father and mother respectively. Yin Guo is the only child of her parents from this marriage. Apparently the sister used to bully Yin Guo when the latter was a child, which is why Yin Guo is closer to her cousins.

Agreed… I would like to add though that he has calmed down since then, regrets his actions and understands the consequences. Yes he still has his pride but that’s also from the childhood trauma of losing his family in one way or another and feeling directionless. Finding Yin Guo gave him the support he needed to realize his life goals.
Meeting the FL mum and hearing her words must have been a hard pill to swallow but he knew it needed to be done - not just for Yin Guo but also to resolve the heaviness in his chest from all these years and move forward in his career.
