I agree, I like CH7 because they produced most of my favorite lakorns (Kha Khong Khon, Rissaya, Ku Kaen Saen Ruk, Norah...) and because they have my favorite artists (well, not that they lost Mookda, they only have my favorite MALE artists) But I have to admit that these last 5 years, it's like they have one screenwriter for everything : all of their lakorns are basically the same and the writing is often nonsensical

I know thai love to use this trope to punish the villains but come on, this is ridiculous The evil twin alone has been raped at least 4 times (10, if you decide to include ALL the guys from her gang rape) and we have I think 2 other rape victims The last episodes were especially full of it, I thought I was gonna vomit... I think that it is possible for Sawan Biang to get an official remake However, if this were to happen, I think they would change some elements, maybe a lot, most essentially the rape part : in 2008, it was normal for a lakorn to be a hit despite the male lead raping the female lead but now we're in 2024. Rape between leads is something we see less and less in lakorns, especially because the viewers are less and less tolerant about it. There are many examples now with a modern lakorn where they removed the rape part compared to the original (Leh Ratree, Dung Sawan Sarb, Maya Rasamee, Majurat See Nampueng, Tang Parn Kammathep, Muean Khon La Fark Fah, Wimarn Sai and so many others...) For example, maybe they would change the rape part into something where Kawee seduces Narin to then dump her right after just to get revenge on Leela and her, and then he would get angry to see her move ont

I haven't (looked for it everywhere though) However, I've read a bit of the novel Damn, this could not be more different. It's one of those rare cases where you think that the adaptation is actually much better than the original material
So finally caught up until ep 17 (exams period after all, so i’m a bit behind)… so many things to say First : That’s it. I surrender. I ADMIT MY DEFEAT !… I am now a fan of Li Yun Rui Second : lol, Wei Tingyu who couldn’t stand to shoot on a rabbit because it was too cute… 😂😂😂 lol, it’s getting really hard to hate him and Dou Ming, despite what they did in the past life. However, i can’t help but wonder if their marriage will really stand the trials of life. After all, they’re both pretty weak and naive Third : Wow, DZ’s father finally stepping up to defend his daughter… This really brought tears to my eyes 😭😭😭 and he was so happy to eat his daughter’s cooking ! And how he ran after one of her suitors to beat him up with a broom 🤣🤣🤣🤣 too sad, this kind of reconciliation between father and the children he wronged does rarely happen in real life

😭😭😭😭😭 Same ! (I also hoped to see her reunite with Euro and Mike, and to see her paired up with Donut). Apparently, she wants to do new stuff ( I seriously wonder if Ch7 doesn’t mistreat their artists because they often leave as soon as they can I’m even more heartbroken because artists leaving Ch7 to go freelance often see their careers and the quality of their lakorns downgrading (Bow Maylada was smart enough to leave them to go to Ch3, though ; i wish Mookda would do the same, I’d be less worried for her upcoming career)
I’m not especially a fan of Li Yun Rui but damn, he leaves quite an impression on me here Also, it’s pretty amazing Dou Ming’s difference between the previous and the current life : in the one scene where we see her in the previous life, we can see she’s a shameless, cruel, spoiled brat like her mom ; but in this life, she exhudes so much innocence and kindness that you just want to hug her, it’s clear how much her mom ruined her in the previous life (preach to the actress by the way, to play such different aspects of one character)

This is based on novel but i think they added and changed a lot of things (‘cause the novel didn’t have enough material to make a really interesting drama)
Seeing how much chemistry these two have but to know that Mookda is leaving Ch7, and therefore won’t reunite with Euro (and pair up with many other Great actors of Ch7) … makes me want to cry my eyeballs out
