I read a review of the original source for this drama and OML, the dog blood. I’m intrigued but also petrified.…
Funny, the drama seems to have taken a completely different direction from the novel : they seem to focus on action while the novel seems more about weird romance
I also loved Qin Sang. People said she was too cold, manipulative and selfish but I believe she was decisive and more realistic than many female leads. Sure, she wasn’t a saint, but that’s what made her great and relatable, I’m sick of saint-female-leads. She wasn’t all about love after her break up and let’s be honest, her husband didn’t immediately tell her he loved her since childhood and even acted the opposite so how could she have known ? I couldn’t believe it when viewers blamed her for being too cruel with him just because she didn’t immediately respond to his love
who plays Thaet? why is she not in the main roles list?
She’s called Yongwaree Ngamkasem. She’s not listed on Mydramalist because until now, she practically never acted in any series (except a minor part for Petch Klang Fai)
I watched it on Netflix and it was bad. I didn't like it I did like the moments when som and Lookkaew stood up…
She lead on Aud ? You’re serious ?! So Aud raped her and she should forgive him ?! And if you « lead on » someone and they rape you, it’s your fault ?! Jeez, you sound like a perfect product of rape culture
Where can I find this lakorn with English subtitle ? I really loved the 2013 one so I'm curious about the 1993…
I’ve watched it raw and believe me, it is greatly inferior to the 2013 version in terms of scenario (because it is faithful to the novel while the 2013 revamped it in such a way that the characters are much more pleasing)
To be honest, if it wasn’t for the discovery of the male lead (whom I became a fan at the first minute), I wouldn’t have finished... it’s full of cliches, pretty average and predictable
It’s really good. I don’t get why this still hasn’t been remade after more than twenty years (or maybe they're scared that the remake wouldn't be that good)
I guess I’ll have to spend more time on my Chinese lessons...
Edit : Found it !
So Aud raped her and she should forgive him ?! And if you « lead on » someone and they rape you, it’s your fault ?!
