So remember all of those cliches we hate about lakorn and that we thought had disappeared ? The jerkish and masochistic male lead who sexually assaults the female lead and yet is presented like he’s not so bad, the female lead who gets slapped and abused by everyone and accepts without a word, the evil female who think they have a contract mariage with the male lead, and the villains who even get forgiven like nothing happened ?
These are all here, literally lining up

It feels weird to see Ching Ching acting as the evil female lead when I’m so used to see her as a female lead ?
But I have to admit she’s good at it, her heinous eye are scary

I find it weird that people are eager for this when it seems that the female lead will face only abuse from everywhere and that the male lead is a misogynistic jerk

When will she gets another lead role ? She’s so talented !

So what is it ? A remake or a sequel ? i'm at loss here

That’s a hard novel. Let’s just say she gets her happy ending but she goes through many sufferings before obtaining it

I was very unsatisfied with their remake of Summer’s Desire and yet, they had such a talented casting, they could have done so much better (I’m a fan of the novel and the Taiwanese drama so I had much expectations and these were disappointed)

So it’s an interesting story but there is nevertheless a big flaw : it seems that the ones producing this story are anti-gay. It’s never openly said that they consider gay people as sexually devious but it’s suggested more than once. Besides, the portrayal that they do of gay men is pretty (like they’re all cunning, selfish and coward). And finally, it seems they do not consider gay men as « real men ».
