It's just that a problem of writing : their couple is pretty boring, even annoying sometimes, and you don't really get when they fall in love and why they get married at some point

Well, they’re not the main couple after all. And I think they wanted to used that ending to give some kind of moral to the story (« don’t play with men and don’t steal others’ boyfriend or you’ll get raped », urgh, and « don’t get close from bitches or they’ll shoot you ») Or maybe they also tried to show that this kind of relationship is actually very unhealthy and shouldn’t be romanticized in dramas

Well, through the whole, their relationship is very toxic. Let’s just say that at the end, she can’t take it anymore and shoots him to death. Before dying, he chooses to forgive her for that because he also did a lot of bad things to her (raping her, kidnapping her, blackmail, etc...) but he « loved her » (eeeeh...) Well, the problem with Pam is that she’s way too sure of herself and doesn’t realize her limits. Just like when she kept sleeping with Thantawee, even though his wife had given her a first (and a second warning) : she’s dumb enough to not realize that his wife will really end up hurting her if she goes on (well, if Thantawee doesn’t kill her first because we now know he has no problem with hitting a woman). She thinks she’s so charming that she can have any man in the world, including a man who loathed her. In other words, she plays with fire and doesn’t even know it and thinks she’s able to handle it even though she’s not
To say they took liberties is a complete understatement. Other than the names, it seems to have no correlation…
That often happens when Chinese people adapt their novels to tv. Sometimes, I even wonder why they call it « adaptations » since it has nothing to do with the original work
