The 2nd fl is a good girl (who goes through a lot of sufferings 😢 my heart broke for her more than once) It’s the rivals of the female lead who are really annoying (especially his childhood friend ; the other starts repenting at some point but she, on the other hand, had done terrible things and still got away, even if it were crimes)

It’s not as good as the original (I think) but I agree it’s pretty nice to watch and the relation between the leads is very cute (and Put’s acting is on top)

the angst is pretty light on the romance. The ML is flawed but thzt actually makes him relatable and realistic that’s okay because he realizes his faults in time and repents and once he realizes his love for the female lead, he’s entirely devoted to her and they’re so cute !

I especially liked The comparisons you made with Laongdao/Anastasia and Rissaya/Cinderella : it’s funny because in the series, one of the characters actually compare the female lead to Anastasia (because no one knows where she comes from). And I also like to see Rissaya as some dark version of Cinderella : because the prince is not so charming, because the mistreatments our Cinderella are really terrible and because our Cinderella is not a model of purity and joy who succeeds in smiling despite her terrible life (her character is very interesting : she knows her life is terrible but she chooses not to cry over it and endures silently ; this isn’t because she’s weak or resilient but because she goes with what she can)
So after today’s episode, I can’t blame Prae’s cousin for trying to steal Yuanta’s husband. I mean, not only Yuanta is unfaithful and yet refuses to divorce or to see her husband with another woman but she went as far as to send her lover to attempt rape on her rival and that’s way over the line, no matter what happens ! If she doesn’t want anyone to get close from her husband, she should cherish him, not treat him like this ! While on the other hand, Prae’s cousin is sincerely in love with Yuanta’s husband so if she were to be with him, she’d probably treat him way better than Yuanta does. And what she did to Prae’s cousin was too cruel, she’s unredeemable to me now. So I get why Prae’s cousin don’t feel any remorse in trying to steal him for her, any woman would be more worthy of him more than Yuanta does
