First episode was great 🥺 They changed a bit of the manhwa's plot, but still it was a solid start for the drama, I can't wait to see how the story will evolve ^^
I feel like Ji Wook's voice somehow does not suit the type of king he's playing help idk his voice just doesn't carry enough authority. Also this is unfortunately not as interesting as I was expecting sigh, the war scenes were eeeeeh passable I guess and as for the rest it feels lukewarm. I'll see after I finished all the four episode if dropping or not.
One thing that's starting to put me off are the many mini-series with open endings so they can add season after season, instead of the 16-20 episodes format. I've got nothing against 8 episodes series, but damn I want endings! Give me a story that i can start AND finish without having to wait months or that will never have a proper ending just because they cancelled the show! I don't get it, like, nobody makes proper ending for their stories nowdays. So, not only I found myself with many poorly scripted dramas with too many cliché I've already seen, but most of the stories are getting are inserting lots of "appetizers" for western audience (which, if I wanted that, I'd go watch american tv shows, not dramas come on) and Im not even getting a proper ending. So, yeah, I struggle to find korean dramas I really like nowdays T-T

WAIT A MINUTE omfg when did this come out noooo i need to see help this is like a side story that happens before Zhang Qi Ling ends up behind the Bronze Gate right? We still got the Wang family and a not-so-unhinged Wu Xie, if I understood right? The timelines are a mess with this series, but I still want to try :')
Really digging up the "two timelines" thing, the original one and the one Great is creating by changing his "most regretful moments" (car's accident, Dome's death, Nam's death...) by preventing what he couldn't the first time.
By now we all agree on the fact that Great is probably dying in the hospital and while the 4 minutes are the time he has left to live before either waking up in the original timeline or dying, I cant help but notice the minutes in the clock going up only when he managed to prevent the deaths of those he couldn't save, so if this theory is correct, Great's clock should be at 11:03 after saving Nam, which left us with only one minute left. I wonder what's gonna be the next fateful event: saving Tyme, or Greats death itself, since we saw him bleeding and running away? And what happens to the changes Great made once he wakes up? Will everything disappear?
Also Yang is absolutely my favorite sob I just know he's gonna suffer and my heart already ache 😭😭 I love the bond the two brothers share, really refreshing to see how much they care about each others 🥺
not gonna lie, idk most of the people in the cast, but i watched the pilot by chance and was really intriguing so im gonna keep track of this to see when it will comes out.
