So it wasn't that much of a dumpsterfire as most make it to be, it surely wasn't the best BL of the year, definetly worst then season 1, but at the same time it was definetly watchable for a BL. Personally I didin't care for any of the side couples, but that is problem that I generaly have in this kind of shows. For me the Tharn Type storyline was more than enjoyable, could have it been better? sure. Did I wanted to kick Fiat in the face every time he breathed? most definetly. Did I found some scenes problematic? Obviosly, but then again it's a thai BL, you need to take it for what it is

Yes, I totally agree.
I think in those scenes that you mentioned the directing is the problem because if you read the novel you can see that they are way less problematic. Also, personally even the first time that I watched the show I never thought that Tharn molested Type, I just thought that he gave him a hicky and sleept next to him to mess with his head. Then again this is thai BL you have to take it for what it is, what I mean is that it's basically a fantasy

People is kinda funny, when a BL show is too fluffy they say that is too far form reality so it's not good, but then, at the same time, when a drama like this one shows some raw and more real stuff, like flawed people and not-so-perfect relationships between the leads, then the show became "toxic" and "the people that like this kind of stuff then like rape".
That said I don't want say that this show is perfect, it sure as some problematic stuff, but who said that in order to like something it as to be perfect?
