Es bastante escandalosa la cantidad de ideas y versiones que hay en la red sobre este drama; todas saben más que la otra parte, y así comienza el enredo: que si quieren obligar a que coja otra esposa a Lin Jinqi, que si eso, que si aquello… Bueno, pues hasta donde yo sé, y no sé mucho, ese avance del episodio 40 es sobre el marqués que quiere una concubina para tener un hijo y esa es la conversación de ese avance; están negociando el divorcio de la tercera hermana u otro acuerdo porque no están dispuestos los Lin a que humillen a la tercera hermana. Fin del spoiler y con ello espero que fin de tanta alarma, salvo que hayan cambiado la trama. En YouTube hay videos publicados por una persona que narra muy bien este drama, pero también confunde mucho a quienes no tienen comprensión lectora; además, mezcla lo que vemos con toda la historia de más de un libro, según cuenta, y así crea más confusión a todas las interesadas al leer el título de cada video, que sí, están muy bien, pero en vez de aclarar, lo que hace es enredar. Mirar el drama y después leer el libro o lo que se quiera, pero no hay que volverse loca con uno y otro a la vez. Saludos para todas.

Spoiler over, and hopefully, the alarmist speculation ends here too, unless they’ve changed the plot. There are YouTube videos by someone who narrates the story very well, but they also confuse people who lack reading comprehension; furthermore, the creator mixes what we see on screen with the entire story from multiple books, creating even more confusion for interested viewers reading the video titles. While the videos are good, they tend to complicate things rather than clarify them. My advice: watch the drama and then read the book (or whatever else you like), but don't drive yourself crazy trying to juggle both at the same time. Best regards to everyone.

We crossed paths with Zhao’s granddaughter again; judging by how things played out, she and her cohorts fled the confrontation like scalded rats—so much for her attempt at humiliation. We’ll see what she does tomorrow to secure her friend’s freedom; though, admittedly, returning to the capital entails great danger. Between her painful memories and everything else, I fear the court is teeming with wolves in sheep’s clothing—and, as her grandfather warned, tigers

I watched episodes 27 and 28 starting at 12:00 noon (European time) in Spain. That was four hours ago.

El reciente novio Lin está como gato panza arriba con sonrisa de oreja a oreja, mientras los demás están con ganas de matarlo, jajaja. Ay, Dios mío, si todos ellos supiesen quién es ella en realidad, quizás, solo quizás, con eso solo termina por matarlos a todos, jajaja, por ser unos malditos hipócritas snob. Si no lo digo, reviento, jaja. De verdad que esos mayores de la casa Lin me sacan de quicio. De verdad que estoy deseando que sepan quién es ella en realidad para cerrarles la boca y bajarles esos humos que tienen mirando con mentalidad actual, pero en la antigüedad eso tendría que ser un despropósito total. Creo recordar que la familia Shen en estatus estaba por encima de la Lin, ¿verdad? ¿O estoy equivocada?

Menuda pieza quería introducir en esa familia; creo que podría convertirse en una bruja peor que la anterior; por suerte, todo se frustró. Bien por Xu Lanxiang, es como si los dioses solo quisieran recompensar a la familia Shen en su hija para darle el lugar que legítimamente siempre fue suyo. Veremos cómo se sentirán cuando se entere la familia Lin de quién es ella en realidad; espero que nos den eso en este drama.

Duke Xian's family turned out to be the absolute worst—father and daughter alike, wicked to the core and convinced they were untouchable. Our protagonist was so clever; she unmasked them right in front of the prince. I loved that. By the way, what will the Lin clan matriarch say about her poor choice of a wife for her son—yet again? She was trying to bring a real piece of work into that family; I think the girl could have turned out to be an even worse witch than the previous one. Luckily, it was all thwarted. Good for Xu Lanxiang; it’s as if the gods wanted to reward the Shen family through their daughter, giving her the rightful place that was always hers. We’ll see how they react when the Lin family finds out who she really is—I hope the drama gives us that moment.
