I am so tired of reading comments from impatient bl fans saying nothing is happening because they don't kiss or that they should've gotten together earlier. do you actually take time to comprehend anything or just wait for intimacy scenes. the relationship is evolving with each of their interaction. the whole story wouldn't make sense if they got together quick, it would be out of character, especially for liuyi. consider actually following the story and understanding character motivations for once

Is this happening like, earlier in the 90s or 2000s? I’m asking because the characters are kind of styled that…
mainly 1988

A series/movie with Park Hae Soo and Lee Hee Joon in it will never go wrong. They are the real master of acting…
Yeah you could not pay me to walk those paths at night, especially when several murders already happened

the uneasy feeling it gives me is certainly similar

it is based on true crime case, so...
yeah well then that makes sense from the point of view of Korean audience. then I guess I'll steer clear of the comment sections before I find out too much

I'm not a fan of the jump to the future since that kind of spoils the events in 1988 from the start but I hope…

I'm not a fan of the jump to the future since that kind of spoils the events in 1988 from the start but I hope they still manage to surprise me. that said the first episode was so good it had my full attention and a lot of stuff from the trailer already happened so I'm very curious what happens next

Man, I’m such a sucker for side couples so I was instantly excited the second I saw them show up lolI think…
I agree that side pairings sometimes have more interesting premises but by definition they get less screentime so it feels more rushed and it's hard for me to connect. I just feel not everything needs side parings, especially short dramas. but as I said this one seems promising :)

if you're little bit far sighted you only need them for reading, if you're little bit short sighted you only need…
thanks, that's good to hear that it's still believable. I guess I'm too used being around people who can't function without glasses haha

So the dub… it’s surprisingly too off or is it just me? I’ve watched quite a few cdramas so I’m pretty…
yeah it's my only major complaint but probably we wouldn't get the drama at all otherwise

yeah I know and I've been trying to spot a pattern but he seems to be wearing them both when walking somewhere (looking far away) and reading (looking close). but then again maybe he has a minor impairment so he doesn't really /need/ the glasses, they just make things easier. but I'm not complaining I'm just advocating for the look without glasses if he doesn't really need them
