yeah I didn't want it to sound like xixi is worse or something, I think he's also an amazing actor but for some reason the effect is not as strong with him for me. it may be because xixi and chusan are a little more similar than zhaozhao and liuyi for me. or maybe because I knew xixi before from wuliang and painted skin so I already approached scd knowing him and could somehow look past chusan? meanwhile liuyi was my first time seeing zhaozhao and he's so different off screen so they really don't mix for me. have you seen xixi in anything before scd? if not, then it would explain why our experience is slightly different.

I've seen quite a lot of xizhao content by now but it's funny how it doesn't really impact my view of the characters. especially when it comes to zhaozhao and liuyi, they are completely separate entities in my mind. I guess that's a testament to his acting skills
