Teaching little girls and boys that consent is important. In any context or situationship. Just bc you're in a relationship does not mean you lose the right to consent for every individual encounter. The first forced kiss is emotions running high, the second was a definite no no.

This show would have really benefited from using teenage child actors for the academy flashbacks. That way we get the visual time jump with their aging and not so many people would be hung up on XJ not recognizing his former classmate. We needed that awkward puberty time jump, with the gangly boys and their squeaky voices. Lol
Everybody is here angry that He Yan dropped her sword and started bawling when she thought Xiao Jue is dead........ Girl just had a boatload of trauma dumped on her. Her Master, her 7 warriors, and now her lover. Girl reached her breaking point. Depression and grief does not happen only when it's safe and convenient.
My question is......
Xiao Jue, my man, are your vocal chords damaged???? Are you deaf???? Can't you hear her? Can't you yell out "I'm on my way!"? Pretty sure as a commander, you are used to barking out orders while simultaneously killing the enemy. Multitask! Unless you're using her as bait to fully finish the Wutuo general. If that's the case, carry on.... we're only having a full on traumatic experience over here.

Just a thought, but didn't Eternal Love of Dream release a family epilogue clip when VIP episodes finished airing? They did technically film the same wedding sequence for the YS (daydreaming) and HBY (after cliff rescue dreaming), and we all know our favorite director is a SS HBY shipper lol, it isn't out of the realm that he maybe squeezed in a little epilogue filming since they were already in wedding attire. Hahaha hoping our simp director doesn't let us down.
