Say what you want about the plot but the chemistry between Lee Je Hoon and Shin Min Ah is UNTOUCHABLE. The married-couple energy was so strong, and I have yet to see a drama with such effortlessly cute chemistry. They're goofy, they're silly, and they're so so hot 😠Shin Min Ah has always impressed me with her romantic chemistry, but I haven't seen Lee Je Hoon like this before and it is BEAUTIFUL.
i love ML he's such a sweet guy but i may have been watching too many old dramas cause I'm finding SML cuter as the episodes go by ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ the way he folds under 0 pressure when it comes to FL is just hilarious
Among all the other things I love about this truly well-made drama, I love how the good guys hit back just as hard as the bad guys. You try to kill 6 innocent people? Here, ALL 20 of you can DIE. I hate how some dramas have the powerful ML and FL sparing evil people again and again, allowing them to continue hurting more and more innocents.
Cheng Lei brings so much laughter and fun into every single scene here... I love those over-the-top expressions he makes when he's pretending to be a tyrant, and the way he's so all out for the FL lol
what the HECK was that first ep 💀💀 ML's lines are SO CRINGE exactly how high were those writers to come up with trash as cheesy as this ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ i truly am better than this
One of the reasons this show feels special and unique to me is because of the way it was filmed. Many scenes looks…
i read somewhere that since this was adapted from a well-known manga, many scenes the director just described and the actors just improvised through the whole thing... it really feels like you're just sitting on a couch in their house and watching their lives play out. This is my comfort drama.
this was soooooooooo cuteeeeee!! the cinematography was extremely pretty; each frame could be a postcard! and the America scene ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ comedy GOLD
I think so too. i tried watching his another historical drama when Destiny Brings the Demon which was also a disappointment,…
I AGREEEEE i've been trying to watch WDBTD since forever the storyline is fine but I just cannot see Arthur as a badass demon king or smth he just looks too small and boyish(idk his height don't come at me ðŸ˜)... he's got arrogant but very boyish good looks and that's why he was so perfect in L&P.
Only reason i could imagine is that romance is quite forced.
How is the romance forced? 😠He so clearly has a crush on her early in the drama after she saves him... he looks like a disappointed puppy whenever she pretends to not care and frantically rushes to her when he thinks she's in trouble. She was slower to fall but you can clearly see her look at him differently after a while... she's already sacrificed quite a lot and takes his side all the time. There are looks looks looks looks all throughout to make you see their growing attraction
Contrary to some people's belief I LOVE GHOST ROMANCES..OMG...KDRAMAS were the first ones to introduce this genre…
They work really well as friends... I like the way they play off each other and their banter is fun to watch. They set up a romance from the very beginning so IDK why there are so many people crying in the comments here about a forced romance... he so clearly has a crush on her from like ep 2 or 3
I really don't mean for this to be a hate comment, but somehow Arthur doesn't seem to suit historical fantasy roles too well... I couldn't see him as a warring general at all 😠His Lighter and Princess character fit him to a T and his other modern movie/drama roles look so good
What is with kdramas these days? They've lost their spark... so many tropes that current cdramas are doing 10x better so this looks lackluster compared to them. Started out nicely, we had some cute characters... Crown Prince was a really really nice character, and maybe the only reason I finished the series. Started rambling and losing itself in it's self-imposed convolutions three-fourths of the way in and the finale was a royal mess, literally. I'm happy they're happy but lots of stuff could have been done better.
How is the chemistry between the 2 leads? I somehow cant imagine it which is preventing me from watching the whole…
well they seem to play off each other pretty well... i like their relationship and the way they have a little soft spot for each other but the drama hasn't put them in too many romantic-tension type scenes so we can't see their chemistry in that light too well.
Does it make sense that a partner attorney in a law firm is resigning and suddenly in a few days they are strapped…
i mean they tried to explain it by giving her those huge compensations to pay esp to the dog experiment place... but yeah not always very smart writing
Just a few. In fact there is so much going on that when I think back I don't immediately think of this as a body…
the fact that so much is already going on makes the whole body swap thing just too much to handle though ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ im already stressing enough over hoping everyone gets out alive and they go switching back and forth
This is actually so different from what I expected. I'm only on ep 2 and all the names confuse me but the way the main leads' story unfolds is honestly so nice and refreshing. sure, there are misunderstandings, but the ML is not the usual high-handed asshole. He's kind and smart and the FL is a strong and sweet person. I love how they help each other out and recognize/respect the other's strengths and good traits even before falling in love. it's so cute!
