Exactly. Romantic progression and chracter growth is excellent in most kdramas I've watched. I love cdramas, but mostly just for the fluff. Theres not always much depth or complexity in them. Like scooping a cup of ice cream and shoving it down my throat XD
Let's play:Bangs up or bangs down for Tae Moo?Hair extensions and makeup or all natural for Ha-Ri?Glasses or no…
Tae Mu is super-handsome with any hair Ha Ri is adorable so I think she looks amazing in both GLASSES FOR SUNGHOON he just looks 10x more amazing to me with glasses on Ponytail for Young Seo
I feel a little bad for his gf. Yes, she's catty, but minwoo is the real problem. Why is he getting with her if…
waitwaitwait when did he say Ha Ri is beneath him? He says something about how she's not on Tae Mu's level, but his? I don't remember him saying she was below HIS level...
Hear me out, i've watched so many Domineering CEO dramas in Chinese dramas but they always feel wrong. Something…
Kdrama CEOs, in my experience, seem to be a lot more awkward or boyish underneath with a vulnerable side that isn't totally hidden... they have much more layered, human personalities. You feel like they actually respect the FL. Eg. I'm Not A Robot: He's supposed to be domineering because she's basically his slave(pretends to be a robot), but he ends up being really sweet, trusting and funny. His "domineering" side comes out only in the funny scenes, while he's actually adorable when in a relationship or while interacting with her.
Jugglers: Again, he's supposed to be cold and whatnot but he's so new to relationships that he ends up being adorably funny. At work, he's her boss... at home, she's his landlady. Touch Your Heart: same pattern. Starts out cold, criticizing her, scolding her, and trying to get her to resign, then realizes that she's a very valuable person, falls in love, is a whole BABY Secret Life Of My Secretary: FL is a secretary who does EVERYTHING for him, takes care of him, even handles his personal life, but he kinda takes her for granted. But through it all they manage to keep him adorable, and when he falls for her SPARKLES FIREWORKS UNICORNS COTTON CANDY!!!
The Cdrama ones mostly seem too cold or too untouchable/ forceful/ perfect/ one-dimensional... I think the only one I seriously liked was the ML in Instead of Tipsy Why Not Get Drunk
Continue watching, you will realize they're very different. ML here is more normal one.
It feels like they parodied and picked bits and pieces out of all the good office dramas out there(WWWSK, SWDBS, The Secret Life of My Secretary, Jugglers, I'm Not A Robot, Tomorrow With You, etc.)... And that's why I love it :) They picked all the best parts and dropped out the things/character traits I hated in the other dramas
If you mean her birth mother? Apparently (with 2 eps to go) she has pancreatic Cancer and is dying (like not much…
thanks a lot! I can't get myself to continue after like ep 37 or something, but I want to see the final ep lol can't get out of my attachment to the kids and the main couple

no there's new drama on schedule to replace YLAG, so no extension more. well except they add special later on
The synopsis looks really good(just like how this drama's was - but I'll try to be an optimist) And Yoon Shi Yoon is the ML, so I have high hopes... he's an extremely versatile actor who has wowed me multiple times with his dual roles and comedic timing
I started back watching after a long hiatus, and several things I took away from this writer/drama.1. 52 episodes…
It's her first mainstream drama as a female lead so I think we cen let the acting thing slide... she isn't horrible, but there sure is lots of room for improvement
Oh my goodness Min Woo is such a JERK ugh what a character... I won't be able to watch that adorable cutie in Never Twice again without feeling like he's upto something evil 🙄😑
It may be the first time when I am so impressed with cold rich CEO ML. He is so good in every way.
The whole drama is actually an analogy. The weird disease was an analogy of the distrust he had in people because his parents died as a child, leaving everyone else to take advantage of him. He isnt allergic to the FL because he doesnt know shes human. Being around him, she helps him learn to hope, love, and trust people, giving them the benefit of doubt. As he starts to trust people, the disease goes away. I thought it was a very thoughtfully done drama :) one of my top fsvorites

Really? The one in I'm Not A Robot is amazing... he has that same adorable boyishness underneath the cold exterior. Hes the only other good tsundere CEO I can think of rn
YES PLEASE I hope all those genius romcom kdrama writers can rise out of the ashes again and start a wave of dramas…
Lol jm neither... i didnt know what username to give myself and randomly chose "vivi" because its EXO Sehun's pet's name XD the name stuck and now i dont really want to change it
I didnt even know Ahn Hyo Seop before this drama. Now, I am like obsessed with him 🤣 Currently I am watching…
Its the only other show ive watched with him in it, and its wonderful to see his transition from supporting character to main lead. Im going to watch Dr Romantic 2 and Abyss soon
He plays double roles in both, so i love his versatility
Ha Ri is adorable so I think she looks amazing in both
GLASSES FOR SUNGHOON he just looks 10x more amazing to me with glasses on
