I donβt feel sorry for either one of them. They are both trash. They deserve each other. She can bleed him dry…
then we've seen different things π€·π I definitely saw her working as a server and she also did some deliveries and other things. And where does she spend money? A better question - WHAT does she spend money on? She wears the same thing almost every day and those were gifts from Mi Sook. I don't see her enjoying anything on her own, she doesn't go to restaurants alone, she doesn't buy herself any gadgets or food... all I've seen her buying are groceries. To cook and put on the table. So the entire family can eat.
ahhh I loved this guy in Psychopath Diary! If you, as a psychopath villain, can manage to have a bromance with the ML, you're a REALLY good actor ππ
Although I understand Anna, it is still is a not excuse for anything that she did. And it don't excuse Mr Park.Anna…
you are so right. Anna was the one to leave like that and tell SC to tell DD her mother was dead. Anna was the one who gave the STUPID excuse of "I feel sUffOcaTed" and run away after dumping her baby on SC. Guess all that suffocation left her once she found out she had cancer - now she wants her picture perfect family in the US, while she pushes all her evil deeds under the rug and volunteers at an orphanage.
not because RL age, but scene where FL while still a kid at the beginning episode
forget Korea, way too many international fans(yes, Europeans and Americans, too) were kicking up a huge fuss here in the comments without even understanding the context, throwing around words like "grooming" and "pedophilia" just because a navy officer decided to help a sad little child who was trying to run away from home π
It was the guy's fault.. I mean think about it.. They went out for a movie after 10 years... the last one was…
Don't you think a wife deserves love, too? I felt pretty bad for her when SC took her out on that date and she was so surprised he was doing something like that. She's a child, a simpleton, who may or may not know that her husband is still hung up on someone else AND cheated on her. Sure, she was greedy and wrong many times, but she does like SC and takes care of him. She married him out of need, not romance, anyway. She had to pretend to be an adulteress just to placate DD's feelings, and that surely took a toll on her. I believe she didn't know that Anna was trying to steal her husband - a LOT of her actions show plainly that she's an intellectually weak simpleton who can't understand anything very complex. With all her love for money, she's incapable of stealing or hatching any sort of evil plots. It's her mom who told her she could keep the envelope and not tell SC - she couldn't even think of something as simple as that. And anyone with a brain bigger than a pea would have known Park had something going on with Anna.
Have you watched Strong Woman Do Bong Soon? Now THAT woman was a real piece of work - taking every single coin that her husband earned, making him hide notes and scrimp and save just to give some money to their daughter. Hitting him all the time, belittling and insulting him, trying to sell off her own daughter... and she REALLY discriminated between the twins(LOL Dae Bom has similar roles in both dramas, now that I think about it). I never saw her actually working at the cafe they own - always hanging around with her friends and gossiping while making sure her husband was working hard, hitting him if he was nice to female customers. Once YS was given the chicken restaurant job, she never slacked off on it. I'm not saying she's an angel, but she's had it pretty bad, too.
If she had a more developed mind, she would probably be a very hard, bitter woman in addition to the greed, given her circumstances. She doesn't get suspicious or jealous, she doesn't try to spy on him, she isn't forcing either of her kids to marry rich people... she would be a different woman if she had anything more than a brain of a child.
SC just gets on my nerves now. If anyone wants to feel real pity for a tortured husband, go watch SWDBS.
What you said about DD needing chairman was sweet, too.., though I doubt the writers will be able to bring out that aspect of the relationship like SWDBS' writers(I love Ji Hyun Woo but Hyung Sikkie was just on another level β€), I'm still hoping for some really fluffy scenes from now on.
Episode 34's MVP is Lawyer Go he's my favorite character in the show now π
"Do you... like me?"
"You - by chance, is the one you like Miss Yeoju?"
"Why not? It's not illegal!"
The umbrella scene reminded me of the one in I'm Not A Robot - when FL goes for a kiss and ML goes home shocked and scandalized by the thought that a robot had the AUDACITY to touch his sacred lips and take his first kiss π
and the secret relationship trope reminds me of Touch Your Heart - ahhh I love my adorably cute tsundere MLs! π₯°π
wow thanks for all the reccs! i only recently got interested in the body swap trope... i dropped DOBY at ep 2 because I just couldn't get into it, but Secret Garden seems to be a good classic show to watch. DYDM also looks really interesting!
My favorite body swap movie is The Dude in Me - gangster swaps with a scaredy-cat, bullied teenager(B1A4's Jinyoung). I could watch it over and over again π It was hilarious.
At this point Iβm wondering just how SC would even give Anna some kind of forgiveness. I donβt think her dying…
i agree. the characters just have to be disposed off at this point. I initially wanted DD to reconcile with her mom, but then all this happened and it really hurt when DD said "It would kill me to leave Jae Ni, Se Chan and Se Jong, and I'm only their governess. How could a mom abandon her own child?!"
DD has experience now. It's going to be very hard for her to look at her mom again
Hi it is nice to see you in my comment section again π And even more to see that I achieved what I wanted to…
aww you're the one who writes such interesting articles β₯
I didn't think FOE's last ep was a mess. Though I didn't exactly LOVE the turn it took, I think the writers used that trope to show the viewers that he really did love his wife from the very beginning, secrets or no secrets. A lot of his actions kept making me doubt whether he truly loved her or whether she was just another pawn in his game. I think he deserved to start clean again. The writers give you hope that everything will return to normal again because he's finally overcome his last hurdle.
And the involuntary way in which he dropped to the ground and opened his arms when his daughter ran to him just melted my heart and gave me yet another opportunity to cry like a baby.
"It's okay if you didn't get me a gift. Daddy is my biggest gift, and I love him most in the world."
I hate to admit it, but I also found her scenes with Gun nice. Until last episode I felt like throwing up everytime…
I agree. I want to see this Sa Ra-focused arc end well, after she faces the consequences and comes clean. I'm sick of the Anna Kim-SC-YS arc already but I guess that's going to be the next side-arc that will take center stage
ahhh I can't wait for this one to get released! Season 1 was so much fun... I hope the entire Violent Crimes Div 2 comes back, with the same actors. Casting Jang Seung Jo and Son Hyun Joo as investigation partners was a brilliant decision π
Why is Ji Seung Hyun listed as having a main role here, though? Is this a continuation of S1 or something else?
