I really don't understand why Yicheng handed over all that hard-earned money! We've all seen Yiding and Sanli struggle so hard with money. They KEEEEEEP giving it to people who don't deserve it! Go on a vacation together! Travel! You didn't even go on your honeymoon trip! *hits head against the wall and cries*

I miss my man Yiding 😥 No, actually, I miss the way we used to have at least a little respite watching Yiding and Sanli court or date or just be together. There was at least a little romance. At this point, Sanli's the only sibling who hasn't divorced her partner. All I'm asking is to see a little more of them. We hardly see Master Ma, too. And yes, we're still calling her "Master". sigh. I wish the writers stopped dragging around with Chenggang and get to the others. I'm not interested in this mom's grave story.

Simei has sapped all my energy. And Yicheng isn't helping, either. SAY SOMETHING! I don't blame Nanfang for accusing him of treating her like an outsider because he DOES treat her like that! Sure, we know he's probably still hurting over those two women leaving him like that and so he's careful, but it still isn't fair to her!

It was nice to see Qiqi bond with the family. WHYYYYYY does Episode 31's thumbnail show that witch Xiaomo??!! I WILL NOT be able to cope if they don't bring Yiding back in.

I also skipped through some of Qiqi's scenes 😅 I really didn't want to watch another tragic story. But, honestly, I feel like she shouldn't have gotten off so easily. What @Nauriya said was right. He was a minor. And I could see that she knew he was naive and stupid. Does whether or not he wanted to have sex with her count in this situation? I don't think it counts as "consent," according to the law. I think what she did is a crime. He was visibly broken after the entire ordeal. He went through mental abuse, too.

We literally had zero news of Qiqi until then and suddenly everything moves SO FAST 😳 And poor Qiqi looks soooooo traumatized while the girl just continues her happy-go-lucky life 😭 Poor guy, really.

Yes, I realized how much we want people we like to be perfect. We can't stand their faults when we see them. I think this drama is bringing me back to reality. I feel like Simei, living in my perfect, fantastical world and suddenly being shocked with reality 😂

I wonder what the Chinese audience reception of this drama is. I just found out Zhou Shen(Charlie Zhou) sang the theme song, so it must be quite a high-profile drama... He's sung theme songs for Love and Redemption, Skate into Love, The Song of Glory, The Long Ballad and The Sword and the Brocade and has been praised as one of the most renowned Chinese singers in recent years.

You hit it spot on! Jackpot! 😂 But her conversation with Sanli(the last time we see her alive) is AMAZINGLY done. I loved the power, intensity, and raw portrayal of emotions. Sanli really goes all out on her, and you're able to understand Yiding a little better. The actors really are top notch. I was moved to tears.

the cases are REALLY gory. So be warned. Not everyone can stomach them. I was able to get through it because the main team was extremely hilarious.

This is a genre very typical of kdramas. Most recent kdramas have become more sophisticated, but this one has a certain old-kdrama charm. Everything is over-the-top and made for comedy. You have to take everything with a grain of salt and not think too much.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I haven't laughed so much in a very long time 😂

I think he's just there to cause trouble or conflict. That's it.

You may not like it, since there's a cutesy cliche, funny romance... it's not very deep

Yeah Episode 6 was one of the funniest episodes I've ever watched in kdramaland. I hadn't laughed so hard in such a LONG time!!

Yeah, her behavior would be just fine if she was in a fluffy rom-com cdrama but this is real life and she's gonna have to face consequences :(
