If I am not wrong, they didn't specify the reason why they were going to Beijing. But there are hints that it's…
If it's for Yiding's health, why did Yicheng tell Yiding to take good care of Sanli? And was Sanli's sickness thing ever resolved? Also, when or where were sexual problems hinted at?
Well, that went from icky to gross to COMPLETELY UNHINGED NIGHTMARE FUEL in one episode. Her family is worse than…
Are you saying that just because he didn't stop her, he's also in the wrong? He was clearly too naive and stupid to know better and that's why she targeted him.
But for me the girl is rapist. And nobody said a word. She did the same thing a cunning boy would do to a girl.…
I agree with you. It's sad to see because the rape of male victims is usually hard to prove because it's more mental abuse than physical abuse. Qiqi looked so broken, mentally scarred and terrified. I hated that the girl seems to have gotten away completely free.
Someone please help me: Sanli used to feel sick. Was it serious? Why did Yicheng tell Yiding to take good care of her? If Sanli is the sick one, why was Yiding planning on going to Beijing alone? What on earth is going on? Which one of them have to consult a doctor?
Will it kill the writers to let us see Sanli and Yiding having fun in Beijing? Is that too much to ask? Do the writers write happy scenes with their blood or something? They're bigger misers with happy scenes than the dad π
I'm always wondering this too! And sometimes they'll randomly say what year it is and I'm like, only THAT much…
IKR I was completely shocked over Xiaomo's son's age... Erqiang's been married for EIGHT YEARS??! Using that and calculating, Episode 32 takes place in 2004.
Never like Xiaomo, she's moody and unappreciative, esp when Erqiang came to walk her home from work. She got upset!…
I hate effed-up storylines but purely from a screenplay perspective, that scene was amazing. The actors were so good! There are some scenes in this drama that will stay with me forever because of the raw emotional intensity in them.
What? Where did they say that? I don't remember him being sick or anything... I thought he was fine after that accident! And if they were going for fertility treatment, isn't the one child policy in place?
I don't think Erqiang is out of line in any serious way? I do believe him when he says he has no bad intentions.…
I like the points you wrote! Makes me understand things a whole lot better^^ I guess it's just his slow character that bugs me sometimes. I don't really mind that he hung on to his love for Master Ma for so many years, but at times he felt like a tragedy hero written by Shakespeare. Just looking at him used to drain all my energy. But I do like him.
I'm glad he got out of that terrible relationship. I usually don't like huge age gaps, but I've watched a few that kinda made it work. But here, I feel like they're just too far apart. Not because of the age gap, but because of the stages of life they're in. I can't feel Master Ma's love for Erqiang as a MAN. I feel like she still treats him as the sweet boy who helps her. And Erqiang doesn't stop calling her "Master"π¬ I also feel that the way Erqiang first fell for her is so weird. I'm pretty sure he peeped at her because that scene where he watches her as she dresses was sooooo creepy to me. I didn't watch it properly because I was so uncomfortable. The two of them are always so cordial to each other... they don't feel "married." Compare that to Sanli-Yiding(yes, I will pick at every chance to talk about themπ) who argue, fight, cry, laugh and work with each other. They see each others' weaknesses and flaws. My heart jumps every time he looks at her in that way and kisses her cheek, making her laugh. He really knows how to make her laugh. That's why I'm so mad at the writers because we haven't seen the two together for quite a long time :(
