can anybody tell me the ages of yixiu, lin mao, madam lin, yining, shenyuan, and lu jiaxue in the novel? i assume that madam lin and her brother are quite young but they weren't really cast that way. especially since lin mao is the older brother, so what is the age difference between yixiu and lin mao? and i'm curious about the age difference between shenyuan and yining and when he was raised by minglan.

I feel like whenever the chemistry isn’t purely sexual people feel this way. their feelings are more innocent than that. as they should be.

they are very much together in the c-drama. it's half the plot but it doesn't come off as creepy at all in that drama bc they separate as kids and reunite as full-grown adults. i have yet to start the new version though
