Ban Huas confession is one my favorite confessions ever. It’s so rare for a woman in a drama to be so bold and straightforward and plow through the wall instead of trying to slowly bring it down. I have mad respect for her tbh

i feel like jiu ling in jun jiu ling is a bit like this. she will only lower her head when it's appropriate or strategic but she still does it while doing whatever the fuck she wants. but she's not as straightforward as ban hua. and i agree with the person above about a lot of zhao lusi dramas.

ok then haha but you are missing out. their story is much more light-hearted and fluffy. i don't remember them much in eternal love but i do remember it's different from ELOD. it's a very good drama. didn't even remember they were far apart in age since they live several lives together. she just follows him around in this one annoying him right? yeah it's different.

I mean i'm still pretty triggered so sorry for the rant but he knew. He was not blind. He ignored it. He also ignores how terrible his children behave until their lives are ruined. She makes no apologies to the end. He was weak and pathetic. He oppresses half of his own people and he ignores the suffering and death of humanity and all for his own selfish happiness. He's the only person with the power to stop all the shit that goes down and he does nothing and then the moment he acknowledges that he kills himself to shirk responsibility. it's completely negligence of his duties from beginning to end. She's less irritating bc she's completely delusional and nothing she does makes sense but she is who she is from the beginning. He's an incredibly poorly written, stupid character.

I was 8 episodes into this drama before I figured out where I recognized the ML from.

I have maybe never hated a character in my life more than I hate Mu Guang. It's hard to be so unimportant while simultaneously the cause of everything that happens in a story. He is the MOST useless person in the three realms. Truly. UGH.

Like Qing Mu inherits his weapon, Hou Chi inherits Pilgrim Hall, they have the same faces. they love each other in this life. he KNOWS they loved each other in their past life. and he's 2 + 2 MUST equal 5 right? Like his math does not math.

ok i might not be able to really blame zhi yang but we can't blame wu huan either. dude is just making bad decisions all on his own.

Can I just say Mu Guang is one stupid guy? Zhi Yang really effed things up for everyone with his decision.

as someone who worked in hollywood for a long time and left it behind for many reasons, i can tell you with confidence that writers rooms are indeed mostly made of men. there are exceptions to every rule of course. but all in all this is very true.
