it's treated as such a minor event in the drama too in a disturbing way. i honestly have never been this put-off by a what is honestly just a thowaway plotline in my life.

old men control most decisions made in American entertainment. and shows are written by writers rooms which consist of mostly men. Korean dramas are written by one person and as long as that person is not a POS then the drama can have great women in it. I totally wish American tv were made like this.

i didn't realize this was coming out and i'm so excited. park gyu yeong will definitely do the role justice. cause haena be cray. as one would be if one turned into a dog as often as she does. this will be my first eunwoo drama for some reason. excited

they introduce her very not dead daughter who has secretly been in her life for i don't remember how long only to have her casually run out in front of a bus and die. as if this poor woman's life couldn't be any more depressing and unfeeling, they made an entire character just to rip her heart out again. i'm still so mad just thinking about it. and it's like her fault.

I loved this. Any recs for a drama with similar high-level plot and pacing but same lightness?

Been a minute since a FL made me fangirl like this! She's everything you want in a FL.

I should say it’s a good drama worth watching and I am mostly just complaining but the most infuriating part of this drama is that her masters last words of advise were begging her to stay away from Prince an and that seems to be the only thing she doesn’t recall about her boss. like if someone begged me not to go near someone dangerous and then I died, id at least suspect that person. but instead she relies on him while suspecting her loved ones. it’s making me so mad that she hasn’t recalled the moment even once! ok end of rant. it’s still a fun watch but I need her to recall it before this is over in 2 episodes or I’ll lose my mind.

this drama is fine. the secondary couple is the best part of this drama and the FL is frustrating bc it takes almost nothing for her to assume the man who loves her very openly is a traitor or murderer or whatever. it happens too many times and too late into their relationship for her to believe he has betrayed her. I don’t mind misunderstandings but these ones make no sense. also the villain is an idiot who is obsessed with getting revenge but he doesn’t even know what he’s getting revenge for. every scene he’s in is frustrating bc he feels bad for himself bc of situations he is causing. I wish I hated him at least but instead I just hope the final few episodes focus on everyone else. the bestie would have made a better final boss.

omg HIStory3 being on this list brought back traumatic memories i had tried to erase. i am so used to seeing tragedy coming in dramas, i've never been so thrown or upset out of NOWHERE. who wrote that? and i'm so glad i'm not alone in this pain haha

I wanted them to use the actual same track. it's an english track but when i think of this series i think of it's music bc it's one of the best OSTs i've ever seen and the opening sequence is a part of the experience of the series. i love this song and still listen to it all the time as well. it's a great song and perfectly creates the atmosphere of the original series. so maybe it doesn't fit the tone of this one? i haven't watched it yet i'm nervous i love the original

bai yifei is the SOFTEST boy in all of dramaland. the purest most soft boy who deserves the whole world. this drama is not great or perfect at all but boy is it worth watching in order to get to know the sweetest softest purest boy i've ever seen in all of dramaland. Is it an actor or is it a small animal? I honestly can't be sure. I have seen so many dramas, but never seen this level of soft portrayed in a male drama character anywhere. At one point in ep 13 there is a miraculous scene that will prove this to you but i just think this entire drama is worth it for this secondary character's happiness alone. anyway i'll probably die on this hill. would love if anyone else thought there was someone softer than him and i'm forgetting about them?

i really wanted them to use the original OST, is someday or one day even in the series?

oh no my SML radar is off the charts. how annoying is this love triangle going to be? bc i'm only on episode 4 and SML deserves the whole world right now.

honestly i'm back here just to reiterate how infuriating this drama is and how it is possible for a single scene to butcher an entire series.

i just finished the series and i have never hated a character more in my life than this idiot.
