We still have a long way to go and hope they keep this momentum with the script. This was how I felt about The Double. The script was good and it just made sense!

Do you think it was love at first sight? Because I totally do. 😂 I feel like he was instantly captivated by her beauty, even though they were supposed to be enemies.

I keep wondering when exactly he started falling for her. I’m on episode 12, and it’s so clear he’s becoming more protective of her.

All the subtle jealousy from FSG is giving me life.

The tension between them is so intense — we seriously need a kiss to break it already! 😩

Also, I can’t shake the feeling that FSG’s childhood best friend might be the Susha traitor... but why though? Any theories?

Some of my thoughts so far:

Been watching some BTS and I am soooo ready for those passionate kissing scenes!! It is probably too early for them now, but I cannot wait! A part of me almost wants to wait until all of the episodes are uploaded because even with my VIP subscription, waking up every morning to 2 episodes only is not enough. However, I know that is not possible because I am hooked.

Twelve episodes in, and I’m still astonished by how good this drama is! I was already excited from the previews, but it has completely surpassed my expectations — I’m officially addicted. Li Qin is absolutely perfect for her role, and Chen Zheyuan as FSG is spot-on. I’d love to see Li Qin and Liu Xueyi paired up in another project; they’re both incredibly talented and would complement each other beautifully.

I thought maybe shooting FS was a coincidence, then later she learned the real plan and how she actually ruined the last minute order and had to be killed for it.

I thought about the poison? Does the XJS being poisoned have any significance?

I saw some BTS kissing scenes of him in the same robe.. I hope so but it could be another scene. lol The tension is too strong! I am ready to break it a little. lol

The way FS doesnt want FL to meet with XJS.. it looks like he is developing feelings and being controlling on the surface but I wonder if it is deeper than that. Like possibly suspecting XJS was behind it.

I am loving this so far! I like good amount of red flag ML who is not full blown savage evil too. Swooning over LQ and CZY. So much chemistry without even doing much!! Anyone watch episode episode 7 and 8 yet? What do you think?

Li Qin was perfect for this role. CZY l've only seen him in The White Olive Tree and fell in love with his charisma. I don't think he's the most handsome, but he looks very handsome in the costume drama. Definitely loving what I am seeing so far. Chemistry is great! Signed up for VIP, so I'm excited. And I really hope we get some romantic scenes with them later on.

I’m OK with the ending.. but I only wished they had more romantic and spicy scenes together.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I wish they had more romantic, spicy scenes together!

I only watched for the plot. The plot: Liu Xueyi 😆 Wished they included more of the novel storyline but I know you can’t please everyone. I’m sad the drama is done now… needed 40 episodes at least!
