LOL he was terrified. serves him right

my theory is people don't think about romance when they think of the duke. he's not the type to be engaging in the affairs that normal young men do and he has a reputation as a very dangerous person. so no one dares to speculate on his relationship with JL because of his fearsome reputation. you saw how the elder Li brother shut down any conversation on the Duke. it's just better not to talk about him. he's basically Voldemort. and also JL is not well respected yet in society and everyone expects her to match down, not match up (with the duke). they keep talking about zhenny hall whenever she comes up in conversation.

the princess is so vile. I can't believe she was worried for Shen after insisting on that sick game. they should both rot

No other actress can pull off the pain in Wu Jin Yan's eyes as she played the qin. this role was made for her.

This change is interesting because it makes the husband dynamic rather than straight evil. I like to see him struggle with how much he loved her but chooses this hypocrisy everyday

When he stayed in that emotion even after his friend was telling him about what Jiang Li was upto! I don't know if it was the direction or he made the choice to keep shedding tears but that was brilliant.

I can recognise at least one Li brother since I can never forget his role in Blood of Youth. It's hard to keep the rest of the men straight except ML and that's because he wears red and it's WXY obv

most likely because of his reaction when she mentioned that Jiang Li was beautiful. he was lying. she wants to know who Jiang Li is to him and obviously mess with him further.

the pearls are so distracting omg!! I keep thinking, how do they keep them from falling off or, I'm getting slightly trypophobic or, did they wear them like that in history?

wait I just watched the trailer again and realised she gave him the pendant to go into battle with!! I love WXY's role in this, finally no more good bois and green flags. or is it the eyeliner haha

I'm obsessed. c-drama is so back!

a man of contrasts...he has masterpieces like Mysterious Case Lotusbook and One and Only and a cinematography dumpster fire like Only for Love

The directing, cinematography and costuming is A1.

I thought I would pass over it when I had decided to watch when there was just a teaser a year ago, but Wu Lei's eyes drew me in. Oh, to be the focus of that intense attraction...Anyway, the cinematography is quite good compared to other modern dramas

Kim Eun Sook in her fantasy bag again

Did he shave his head for a guest role? Respect

So this is not like Reset?

I’ve read the webtoon up to fourth reincarnation and they’ve kind of mixed them up, I’m guessing so the viewers can easily see how they are all connected (which webtoon readers realise later). But the first one is accurate

Haha, Shisan's weakness is aegyo

they could split the 60 episodes in two and have it air in two seasons
