It was going so well, and I thought at last there was a c-drama where the writer is talented enough and won't resort to making the FL drunk in order to say her mind, but nope.

thank you and yes many dramas have this problem of giving very little time to the HE scenes

Be it man or woman, it's the partner's fault for cheating so fight with him/her. I'm seriously bored seeing the fights with the 3rd party, now I just roll my eyes at the stupidity. Now that you mention, I don't even remember any such drama lol

The ending totally ruined it otherwise this drama would have gone down as one of my fav k-dramas.

I had stopped watching lakorns coz they were full of Infidelity stories and normalizing it. And now I keep coming across more n more such j-dramas.

The FL was so servile. She had only one agenda in life, to get married. Even in her imagination she was the ML's servant who would keep waiting on him.
While the ML didn't even bother to tell her what he was planning for his own future. His world did not revolve around her.

By the time the 1st epi got over, I knew it was one of those j-dramas with one of those FLs, that I'll just binge watch and forget as soon as it's over. I had no expectations from the rest of the episodes and had a laugh every time she would shout or go 'eh'.

no wonder! but there are still many c-dramas where the FL is a doormat so nothing has changed lol

This was a great comedy.

After watching 2 episodes:
Jae Min is a hypocrite, he is allowed to sleep around but his fiancée can't even meet her boyfriend.
Soo Jung wants both men and knows how to use Kin Wook, who is ready to be used as he is dying for some love.
Yeong Joo is vulgar and loud and the drama gives poverty as the excuse.

I liked how none of the characters are saints but the acting is so old school even though it came in 2004. I can't binge watch such dramas so it'll take some time to get rid of it.

hahaha I knew you would be tempted coz this drama's mother was horrible. Now imagine someone worse than her!

Finished 3 epi and had to drop. Every actor other than her were doing great but there's a limit to how much one can ignore the main cast and try to finish a drama.

Even I had almost dropped it, but for now have put it on pause and will binge watch this weekend.

That's what I understand from such dramas. If the FL would remove toxic ppl from her life, how will the writer fill up 100s of episodes LOL

I haven't reached the scandal part and was already annoyed how her step-sister would insult her but the FL would keep on giving unwanted advice.

I haven't caught up with the recent epi. Started watching only a couple of days bac, so clearly she'll keep on being around those toxic people no matter what. I'm at the point where she is successful and yet takes crap from her so-called sister, keeps giving unwanted advice, care and attention.
But yea, I understand that when they have to fill up so many episodes the writer will make a FL who won't have any self-respect for a lot of episodes, then have her move out, then back to them for more drama lol

There are some dramas where even I accept the nonsense and watch but it's coz they are fun. Here the mother would increase my BP hahaha
