I've been skipping a lot on the episodes so maybe I missed the reason why the FL tolerates all the insults and abuse from her step-sister and step-mom. She is a financially independent woman and can easily move out and live a happy life. Can someone please let me know?

exactly! and why does she need glasses? It's the same old story where women shouldn't wear specs to look pretty so she get rid of them and sort out her hair as part of the makeover. The moment I sensed that she'll go back to her &^%* mother, I dropped it. I really liked the actors but the drama started ruining my mood instead of entertaining me...
I was kinda enjoying the drama before the amnesia track, but it's as if the FL lost her marbles along with her memory. Even her acting like a countryside woman comes across as fake. I'll fast forward these episodes.
The story and acting were good but marred by a weak FL.
The FL kept begging the ML the entire time, not able to do anything, no matter what. The episode where she pretended to be raped was so obvious that it was funny instead of being anything unique or surprising.
As usual, the ML would turn her into his maid then forcibly kiss her. She would think she has control but would end up crying and begging him, again. The begging happened so many times that I just lost interest. If they make a 2nd season they better give some brains and self respect to the woman who doesn't need to beg the entire time.
Acting was not bad, one of the few chinese FLs who talked like a normal woman instead of a 5 year old.
But she FL had no dignity. ML's mom repeatedly insulted her, he didn't care much about it and later on, even the FL was like, it's ok you did it coz of your son. I seldom find FLs in these dramas who have self-respect and do not allow anyone to insult them just coz they are in love.
The MIL later claimed she didn't care about the FL's family background but it's only when we found out that the FL comes from a rich family. I understand the rush to whitewash the mom coz how can his mommy remain a nasty old woman lol

Common sense would say you hit your husband/bf coz he is the one who promised to be faithful and cheated, not that other woman. Maybe such women get jealous and angry thinking 'what does she have that he left me for her'
I roll my eyes when women fight with each other while the guy enjoys 2 women fighting over him. If it was me, I would kick out the guy and tell the mistress to keep the trash. If he can cheat on me then he will cheat on her as well, so good riddance lol
This happens in so many of these dramas. The man is never blamed as much as the 3rd party. I fail to understand the logic of blaming an outsider instead of your partner. Pull his hair, kick him in the jewels.

Not just modelling, she is good in variety shows as well but when it comes to acting, your bar has to be quite low to think she is an actress. Her fans do her no service by pretending she is amazing. Help her improve instead of letting her remain the same.
He was actually shouting his wife’s name “Si-er, si-er” but the subtitles are really a trip 😂😂
Yea I figured that out but bad subs can really ruin things or make it hilarious. Sometimes the wrong subs are more entertaining than the drama itself, but I don't complain coz at least we get subs lol
I'm on the 7th episode and it's funny how the gf didn't blame her boyfriend as much as she blamed the woman he cheated with. Your partner broke your trust but let's blame someone else instead of him coz he was such an innocent child who got brainwashed and taken away while the poor helpless guy couldn't help himself LOL
