Before I started c/k/j dramas I was on this mission to watch all good movies from any decade or century of any country.
I never understand why ppl miss out on good stuff just coz it's old or black and white. Being new doesn't guarantee quality LOL

I had dropped many dramas coz thr were no subs, didn't bookmark them, now I'm regretting. Can't believe someone decided that even old dramas are worth subbing lol

I heard such good things about the drama but doormat FL never goes well with me. Maybe young girls like such stories and think having no self respect is fine. I'm on the 17th epi and the ML keeps calling her kid/child but even she behaves like a 10 year old so...

I had started watching S1 on YT when they suddenly removed subs and then I forgot about it. Thanks a lot for taking time out and giving me a detailed reply.
I'll wait for this season to end and then binge watch it all :D

CZJ is a good actor, he has shown his variety thru this stupid drama so hopefully he'll pick better projects from now on.

We are not the target audience of such dramas. There's a scene when after she time travels, hasn't lost her memories and doesn't push away the rapist when he was about to kiss her. That's when I dropped.
It's as if writers are testing the audience to see what all can be served in the name of romance, very soon we might see those rape lakorns being remade in China. Though, I hope not.

I'm watching August, and I feel that if ZZH is not allowed to act again then he should carry on making more such documentaries and bring out these beautiful places of China to the world.

I've never dropped any of her dramas, ever. But this one couldn't hold me...
She is one of those few c-actresses who can act cute without looking mentally disabled, when she has crying scenes she touches my heart. Hopefully her next one will be good.

Now when there's an accidental death in a k-drama not caused by the white truck, I'm like blasphemy 😂

There would be more comments if it was the opposite. Even actors like to be paired with young girls, helps to keep their image younger. No matter how talented one is, at least don't make it creepy, wait for her to grow up lol

omg yes!! it's like writers have a list of things that have to be included no matter what. I've been watching c/k/j dramas for the last 4 years but cannot digest the childish voice and behavior or the OTT acting in most j-dramas.
The hugs or piggy back ride was fine when I first came across them, then I realized it'll happen in every drama. Thankfully haven't seen the white truck of doom for some time now :D

It's ok, I love Xu Kai as well. China keeps throwing such good actors, my list is every growing lol
