I was worried the drama would lose steam coz it started so strong but it's still making us feel and think.

Going into rebellion or revolution itself is not easy. The person should know what all will follow, torture, blowing yourself up, your family getting dragged into it - needs guts and an amount of madness. Nothing is more or less.

Even thinking about it is scary :/

When these dramas make us care for support characters I just know we're going to cry. When they first showed the lovely relationship between Wen-Ruo and Tunan-wife, I was sure we would lose 1 from each. So now I hope the wife doesn't get hurt coz she is such a support system for her whole family.

Yes! That hurt a lot how he kept thinking of Ruo even till the end.
Also coz the way Yibo performed in the scene. If he keeps on taking up good projects he'll achieve so much more

Exactly! And it happens everywhere. The rich have connections, misuse the law, they know if and when a rule is about to be changed and make more money. While the poor have to follow every rule and yet suffer. I kept thinking how the drama is based on events more than 90 years back but nothing has changed!

Wen did not go in it coz of greed, Zhou clearly did. He even tried to stop others but when everyone is minting money and u alone r living in poverty it sounds stupid to not get in queue. It's easy to judge people who live in such conditions when it's the actual villains who should be blamed, caught and punished.

So true! He was Ruo's bestie, was happy to see him succeed. We don't get such friends easily...

And we know it happens in real life. Poor people get crushed while the rich, powerful make decisions and enjoy life. Wen wasn't greedy, he only wanted to make a living. I had shivers when Ruo kept begging him to come back, that he would pay the debt on his behalf...

Maybe this is the last straw for Ruo, I stay away from trailers so have no idea about what is next. All the actors are so amazing and the drama took us so close to all these characters that it hurts even more :(

I love JJS but won't be able to tolerate SSK. I tried some scenes and knew not to waste my time. There's a difference between modeling and acting. Hopefully he'll soon do a good project with an actress.

This is why I don't watch trailers of the next epi coz they mess with my head. He is such a fine actor though!

I hate this. They made me love Wen, I knew this would happen but when it happened it still broke me.

One moment LQS makes me hate him, then pity him, then he lands in from of Ruo who can't recognize him and that makes me laugh. I'll definitely watch WoF again once it's over...

When it's the FL this genre shows that women aren't capable of balancing it and hence need a man. So I wonder if these writers dare to show a ML who is gr8 in his career but lives in filth and the FL is his knight in shining armor.
Maintaining cleanliness as in, she wasn't living like a pathetic excuse but still chose to hire a man to lessen her burden. Not a man showing savior complex.

I can't tell u how much I dislike such dramas but I understand they are made for young girls who dream that there'll be a rich CEO who'll shower them with gifts and in return the girl has to just cook n clean after him.

Writers need to come up with something new but maybe they look down upon viewers thinking that original stuff won't be appreciated.

It's like how many c-drama FLs are childish and the dubbing artist makes them sound like a 6year old. I either drop such dramas or lower the volume when these FLs start talking. One big reason why I can't recommend most of these dramas to my friends.
