This was a good comedy. The synopsis will make you think that the FL would be strong after being kicked out by her husband and mother-in-law. But her only plan was to take help from her ex-husband every step of the way.
ML said sorry once, sent her cakes so that she would fall for the loser again which she did. Once leads were together, he still kept the evil girl by his side as if she was part of his harem.
Evil MIL suddenly turned good. At this point I was only laughing at the absurdity of it all.
We're told the poor ML couldn't contact or go to his wife but kept tabs on her so we should forgive him. The drama kept getting funnier by every passing minute. Watch it for a good laugh.
3rd episode - I know they wanted to pair 2 people opposite to each other but the FL is too hyper. She can easily tire anyone down. Or maybe it's thai version of 'cute girl' like c-dramas have childish FLs, but if only she would calm down a bit this would really be a good drama. Normally lakorns either have a toxic ML or they normalize and romanticize infidelity and rape. Thankfully it has been good so far.
18th epi was hilarious, FL is at the ML's party, her dress gets soiled so she gets dressed up like a waitress and starts serving the guests. And then as expected bumps into another waitress and spills everything drawing attention to her stupid ass. Now I'm just skipping through the scenes of this comedy drama.
I would have enjoyed it so much more but the FL was a twat. She was ready to sacrifice 24x7 as if on a mission to win the Nobel Prize. The cartoonish acting didn't help matters. Wonder if actresses aren't allowed to act like normal human beings or they do it on purpose. It seems a young girl wrote this story where she fantasizes men falling for a stupid girl who'll lie all the time and sacrifice needlessly to get praises from everyone. Even if it means hurting your loved one.
I would have dropped the drama in the 1st epi itself but the ML saved it. Kikuchi was so good. This is the first time I've seen his work and I'll definitely watch more of his dramas.
Nara was stupid to think she could take on all the evil people, she would trust the wrong people at the wrong time, didn't take good ones into her confidence and paid the price for it. I'm just glad Rain died early on and that Rome killed them all on her behalf lol The DoP did a fantastic job though.

I actually thought I was the only one who couldn't see comfort and happiness in this drama coz every comment made it sound like heaven lol chacha was so good!! It gave me actual comfort, I wanted to shift to that place and 'meet..' is in my bookmarks, I'm sure I'll like it going by your comment :)

I can't thank you enough to making this post. You described the drama so well, it felt like I had already watched it. I'm not a fan of forgiving evil people. Take revenge or if you don't have it in you then throw them out of your life and move on.
I was able to watch 2 episodes and for a change the acting wasn't cartoonish. Really wanted to watch this drama. But can't find other episodes for free so I have to let it go...
Took me a month to finish it coz it was so boring. I'm not a fan of alcoholic people so that could have been another reason. When I first started watching I thought the drama would give me comfort and make me want to escape to the countryside but nah.
Japanese dramas n movies subs are never easily available. I've had to drop many good dramas coz of this... even their own platforms don't care for us, it's like they don't realize the potential of global audience.
