One moment LQS makes me hate him, then pity him, then he lands in from of Ruo who can't recognize him and that makes me laugh. I'll definitely watch WoF again once it's over...
It's ok and yea you didn't understand what I mean. When it's the FL this genre shows that women aren't capable of balancing it and hence need a man. So I wonder if these writers dare to show a ML who is gr8 in his career but lives in filth and the FL is his knight in shining armor. Maintaining cleanliness as in, she wasn't living like a pathetic excuse but still chose to hire a man to lessen her burden. Not a man showing savior complex.
I can't tell u how much I dislike such dramas but I understand they are made for young girls who dream that there'll be a rich CEO who'll shower them with gifts and in return the girl has to just cook n clean after him.
Writers need to come up with something new but maybe they look down upon viewers thinking that original stuff won't be appreciated.
It's like how many c-drama FLs are childish and the dubbing artist makes them sound like a 6year old. I either drop such dramas or lower the volume when these FLs start talking. One big reason why I can't recommend most of these dramas to my friends.
I don't like such dramas coz there are the opposite ones where the ML is highly successful but doesn't live in filth. Maybe this genre is to satisfy women who dream about men doing house chores but in real life they can't get any secure guy like that. This is why I wondered if there are dramas where the FL doesn't live like a pig but hires a man to make sure the cleanliness is maintained...
TuNan rushing towards the hurt Ruo making sure he is okay, Ruo thinks the files are more important. This is the one relationship that should never get sour, it'll hurt me a lot...
They've made her polar opposite of Jin Zhen for a reason. I didn't like her when she landed but when I calmed down I thought she didn't know Wei had broken off the engagement. Hope she isn't clingy, I hate when dramas make girls run after a guy even when he says no.
The curious thing is that Miss S was a Chinese adaption of the Aussie series Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries and…
And I liked the changes they made instead of blindly copying. Just like how BBC Sherlock took the original stories and made it their own. One thing's for sure, actors of WoF will be proud to have it in their resume. This is one drama of this genre where I actually don't care about the politics and am engrossed in the story and acting.
Wrong you didn't watch the song of the youth, historical drama where she was a trained assassin. They was a dance…
the Bai Lu drama? If yes then I've marked it low and I don't remember anything of it so clearly wasn't good enough. If not then obviously not my fault, can't expect someone to watch every drama out there lol
if Sheng comes back now, he'll be a zombie. Ruo wanted a simple job in a bank but look what all he is facing and doing! Yibo is perfect for the role. So happy for him 💗
I love Jin Zhen. Most c-drama FLs are so stupid n childish and then comes her. There was the FL of 'Miss S' and now Jin, so refreshing to see such women. Sheng Da seems to be the writer's blue eyed boy. It's hilarious how he keeps escaping death.
