omg yes!! it's like writers have a list of things that have to be included no matter what. I've been watching c/k/j dramas for the last 4 years but cannot digest the childish voice and behavior or the OTT acting in most j-dramas. The hugs or piggy back ride was fine when I first came across them, then I realized it'll happen in every drama. Thankfully haven't seen the white truck of doom for some time now :D

Couldn't decide which was worse, the actress or her dubbing artist. I dropped after the first episode. Watch if you have no more dramas left or if you want to waste your time.

The subs are so bad that I don't even know if a character really means what is being subbed. The ML is informed that his wife is dead but he shouts 'my son, my son'. Either he meant to cry for his dead wife or he really only cared about his male heir lol
I thought it would be entertaining but dropped at the 15th minute mark. The FL claimed she's a reporter but easily got caught while attempting a lame sting. I don't even care if she was really a reporter or pretending to be one coz even her acting was bad.
