As more the series goes on, the more you realise that the bad actors, when they interact, they make their scenes so bland, so emotionless. Like an amateur reading dialogues out loud. If there is supposed to be love, I can't feel it between those boring long shots.
I can't for my life figure out if they're under a threat or nah, when they're doing laundry like that. Also Palm be like "who's your boss, I don't know him" like the henchmen will say sorry and go back. AND did he get weaker or something? What was that weak-ass fight scene? ALSO they can kidnap Palm in his own place but couldn't shoot Nueng? HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO SHOOT NUENG, are they saving their bullets or something for a special occasion? Nueng drinking wine in his fancy night-suit and that whole sequence - cringe-fest. (i looked up if wine can be non-alcoholic, and yes it can be. Now the question is, do I trust the writers to be smart enough to have remembered Nueng's allergy? Or this scene was just a template relaxing at house scene? My answer - I don't) The assassin should have let him drink his wine peacefully, he would have died of allergy. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Also, weak-ass assassins. Can't even kill 1 person who doesn't even have... *checks notes* ... SECURITY!
"Why did you teach me how to shoot if I couldn’t use it to protect myself?" says Nueng as he lives in a house with no security. When did palm teach him shooting?? what is Nueng saying to Palm with their stiff body language? didn't he go to classes for it?
Palm is the greatest spy, he can go anywhere undetected with just a hat. HE IS ("MR." - redacted) GADGET!
Why's Nueng so sad? like his mom has been dying since forever before their honeymoon. Palm should have should've shot Nueng for being so dramatic.
"I have more money than him." but none of the brains I'm afraid. NEW THEORY! NUENG IS ADOPTED! it makes all perfect sense, to be honest. His mother wants him out of the picture, because that's why she got her husband killed, and then faked the shooting and the coma, Uncle Kit knows this, he knows Nueng is adopted, and knows about his mother's truth, that's why he wants to kill both. Whilst the mother is saving herself by pretending to be in a coma so uncle kit kills Nueng first for her and then she can put uncle kit behind bars using his crime of murder. She's playing a long game. Of course this theory of Nueng being adopted makes sense, since he inherited none of the brains of any of his parents.

loved the Chopper and Uncle Kit scene, a good scene of two good actors. Chopper acting out under pressure of everyone telling him that how his father being this evil person doing evil things is HIS fault, a teenager still in school. So he pulls a gun on his own father but obviously doesn't have the guts to go through with it, as he was JUST trying to scare his father. It was good so it was maybe from another show idk. (But the finger on the trigger baby - that's something to be careful about.)

Episode 4, this brightness issue bugs me so much. In convo b/w Alan, Uncle Jim, and Wen, Alan's camera angle is lit SO MUCH even though they're all are standing in the same place. Did GMMTV give all the money to Vice Versa's color grading team?
Is it too much to hope at this point that the uncle kit turns out to be a good guy with a huge plot twist? And it was all orchestrated by Nueng's mother from the beginning, like imagine! What if SHE was the one who gave orders to kill her husband and to kill her son!?!?!? And now she's just waiting for the perfect opportunity to be like "I got you, m***erf**ker"!

No, it's not deliberate. The only thing deliberate in respect of lighting is the warm tone with the orange lighting everywhere — inside the houses, restaurants and also outside. That brightness issue I'm talking about, is just a job done badly. Color grading often done in post processing to fix all the imbalances in color, brightness, contrast to control how the scene is meant to be and they didn't fix it.
Check the scene of Gaipa and Uncle Jim conversation in Episode 3. There is an absurd amount of brightness difference as the camera cuts angles. This brightness/lighting issue is what I was talking about earlier. The series has lot of scenes in which the brightness is dialled way too up to stage spotlight levels.
completed ep 10. okay so either Joe and Army need to break up or open up their relationship. It seems while Army is hypersexual, as canonised in the plot, Joe lies more in with Asexual spectrum. They're not compatible for each other; And incompatibility breeds resentment. Army needs to have his sexual desires fulfilled and Joe needs to be in an environment where he doesn't feel like something that he is uncomfortable with is expected from him. The only alternate solution that can help them saving the relationship is opening it up, so Joe doesn't feel internal guilt or pressure and Army can have his needs met without building resentment towards Joe.
