Just finished. I liked how it still ended on a happy note. It's hard to find Republican era dramas that end happy.

Started this but since it's one episode per day, I stopped at episode 7 and will continue next week when almost all episodes are out. For a face swap, I like this drama. While the personalities are are polar opposites, there's a reason why so you don't feel like you're watching a different person.

I'm not really into Republican era dramas but this is well made. I'm on episode 4 and story flows well. The little girl is so cute. Looking forward to more Min Min and Yuan Cheng interactions.

None . I wish there was a little bit. Just a little bit I'd be ok. So I'm looking forward to season 2. Hopefully, they'll flesh add some.

Just finished and I'm giving this a solid 10/10. I wasn't really interested when it first came out and plus it was only on Youku which I didn't have VIP. But nothing really to watch these days so I subbed Youku to watch this and Starry Love.

This one of the best wuxias I've seen in a while. I like the journey of the main characters, the growth arc and the subtle romance. At first I got overwhelmed by so many side characters so I would rewind and try to remember their names. But this is really really an amazing series. I can't wait for season 2. I want it NOW!

Right? Well back to the waiting game. Hopefully there are other releases that interest me.

It does make financial sense but bummer for the viewer. I normally do annual subscriptions. So now I rethink if it’s still worth it. Good thing for me is I’m in SE Asia and rates are cheaper. I normally get when there are promos so it comes out even cheaper.

Same here. Since there's momentum with Shen Li, they're putting Best Choice Ever so you know. blockbuster after blockbuster. Sigh. There's nothing to watch. I'm in a drama slump. I feel like ABAY likely to come out second half. It doesn't make sense to show two modern dramas of Xu Kai so soon after.

So sad Best Choice Ever is coming out before this one. Sigh.

I'm on episode 8. So far this is quite enjoyable. Quite fast paced. I think it would've benefitted from more episodes. Feels like too many scenes got cut.

Totally agree. This drama needs more love. The only thing I would change is I would lessen the sister's airtime. I prefer to have more scenes of 4th prince than her.
