The Romance is only lame for people who wished for BL. Those of us who don't mind think it's a lovely romance.…
No, the romance is lame because it is one-sided and the FL has zero involvement in the life of ML and knows nothing about him at all and all his support comes from his friend. There is an issue with the writing for the romance, although it started out okay.

I wanted to watch this but all this talk about romance in the comments makes me loose interest... Oh well, maybe…
It’s still worth watching despite the lame romance, even just for Yeo Jun's character alone.

The preview did it say he leaves? Do we have any idea if his brother got there in time?
Um. Yes? He's president of a company...if that's what you mean?

I don't think he marked the calendar to commit suicide.
That’s where YJ’s mind went but NSH never tried to kill himself and instead lingered/loitered around hoping to run into YJ.

Since almost all comments are negative, just here to spread some love for this drama. It’s not perfect. There are several aspects that could have been done better. The first 2 episodes were the most solid. But I still enjoyed almost all of it. Some of the dialogue I actually find really powerful. Yeo Jun as a character is beyond special to me, and PJH is amazing. Character development was on point for YJ and NSH, and their friendship is the highlight. Pacing is not as good as it could be. Some moments were overdramatized while other moments that should have been climactic were too understated. So Bin gets comfort from YJ and is left only in the dark about him, never seeing the light, which makes their romance less convincing and kind of one-sided. Yeah. Sure. But still, love it. I very rarely feel so much emotion when
watching a drama or feel so connected to a character. I don’t care so much about the negatives because the positives outweigh them for me.

Mmkay. My own father never bothered with that and no one ever questioned him or cared. But I see your point.

In the preview they show Jun with Soohyun wearing the same outfit as when he was with the dad, and he looks unscathed, so assuming bro got there in time.

I'm just at the beginning of chapter 4 .... and so far I'm quite into the drama. It even makes me cry sometimes.…
No he is not manipulative later on.

Yes, bromance overpowers the romance almost 100% here.

Well I liked today's episode but your comment is hilarious.
I was disappointed when she went all the way to his place to see if he was okay, and then changed her mind and decided to get mad at him for a comment he made a long time ago, and has since been making up for. He had already started opening up to her about his past. "but yeojun gets all his comfort from soo hyun as if he's his girlfriend." lololol can't argue with this.

which one?
Most importantly, following psycho sunbae into a room to receive an "apology." You can say she is "naive," but that would be beyond naive after how he beat Jun's face in. Also, why would she want to hear him out? His actions are not at all forgivable and an apology at this point would be useless, regardless of whether he was obviously lying.

Based on her comment to SH about being concerned about her future it looks like she is contemplating that. Also…
But what does this have to do with her following psycho sunbae into a room to receive an "apology." Why would you even want his apology? You gonna forgive that guy?

Depends how you interpret every events that occured.... they are still growing to adulthood.. she never started…
I've watched every episode multiple times each. To be honest, I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. On what planet was it not a stupid move for her to follow that dude into a room? The very dude who was about to beat her boyfriend to death? She felt safe there? In a locked room with an assaulter? Not sure what you mean. I am just unable to connect to her as a character. I wouldn't give that jerk the time of day, nor consider any apology from him. What 'despite all odds?' I don't feel she has that many odds stacked against her.

It's logical. A lot of guys want to appear "strong" in front of their girlfriend (especially a girlfriend like…
Yeah, I admit too I’m definitely in the minority when it comes to not really liking romance that much. It’s not that I dislike it, but it doesn’t excite me. Dramas (Korean) that focus on friendship are pretty much non-existent. Anything with romance is naturally going to be more popular, so yeah I get why they add it. As long as it doesn’t suck up the entire storyline, where the leads are so obsessed with each other they can’t think of anything else, I’m fine with it. Yeo Jun/So Bin is cute for me. But trying to force romance on SH and MJ at this point seems unnecessary. I appreciate the melancholy of this drama as I feel it reflects my own life (which contains zero fun or happiness lol).

The writer put Sobin's character as unnecessary love interest for Yeo Joon but when it comes to his own pain ,,,…
It's logical. A lot of guys want to appear "strong" in front of their girlfriend (especially a girlfriend like SB, who is a permanent damsel in distress), but are more comfortable revealing their vulnerabilities to their male friends. Either way, I'm not complaining. I prefer he confide in Soo Hyun over So Bin, who barely has any real connection with him. I also don't understand the obsession with including romance, that we must always have it, but it's what most people like, I guess.
