I agree, he is the only interesting character to me. I don't get the argument of, "Oh, he's done these bad things therefore he's a terrible character." Um, idk, I think his actions make him entertaining? Last episode was so boring my brain almost evaporated lol.

That was most likely just to pass censorship. They just sliced off the “happy ending” part to get it okay-ed, and then released it for us to see. That’s how I like to think of it.

I agree. When the doc was thinking “oh my god how could Tian hide this?” all I could think was, dude, it’s literally his business and you are so out of line, how do you not see that?

I agree with you 100%. It’s hard for me to look at Shi De the same way now. I wish they could have toned it down a little. But I don’t feel anything negative toward Sam himself at all. And no worries I didn’t think you were rude, just reacting to someone else being very rude!

Okay, I can see that. I feel like they adjust the subtitles to how they feel people would normally speak in English. In Japanese it would be normal to answer with shiranai but in English it would sound odd to say “I don’t know,” or wouldn’t have the same feel as saying it in Japanese. It does get somewhat lost in translation and doesn’t show the cutesy way dad was acting toward his son. Maybe a better trans would be “I don’t!”

I agree they didn’t seem to like Shi De at all. They seemed fully on Shu Yi ‘s side. I found that quite interesting and it made me curious how exactly that happened, mostly in Zhe Yu’s case.
