The entire show is mind blowing. It was so dark and kept the audience engaged throughout, they could have a few more episodes and I would sit through it. In just 6 episodes I was attached to each character and my heart broke a couple of times over Yuto. That poor boy didnt deserve to go through that.
I am absolutely in love with the 7th episode, the way each character was able to emote their pain and struggle as well as bring to life their internal thoughts without having a voiceover was commendable to me. Personally, I don't hate Risa and I like the depth they have given to her character. Although, she is shallow and has lost the essence of their friendship for love, you can see the human touch to it. Although flawed, she is a very realistic representation of a person who ends up placing their love over a cherished friendship. I hope they can give her some growth in the next few episodes and just help her be happy with where she is in life right now. (wasn't able to understand the preview because it wasn't subbed).
This is far superior to the Korean original version because it just hasn't focused on outer beauty but has successfully been able to capture growth.
Higuchi looks too young. I don't know why they chose to make him so different compared to the CN and KR version…
I think the fact that he is young just makes their friendship believable, the way he called her Jackson and they just clicked was really cute to me. I think they are trying to know maybe he just has a tiny crush rather than something that serious like as in between Sosuke and Sato Ai. It also sells the narrative as to why Sato Ai doesn't take his feelings seriously and just views him as very good friend.
There is an Indian show with a similar plotline about how a man goes into a women-dominated world. You can check it out here, it has subs too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NgvxN9RJSg
Given the controversy and plagiarism of the author of the soure novel, i feel hesitant to watch this. Its the…
If I read correctly, the writer of the novel is the script writer of the show and the show follows the novel down to the T. As far as I have watched the show, even the dialogues match those in the book.
Why did the second male lead died in only the 6 episode. Is he coming back again?? Or who will be the second lead.…
he isnt exactly the second lead, he is more mislabelled. if the book follows the novel, he isnt coming back. He is a special appearance whose character was essentially to get the leads' story moving
