Her voice is kind of annoying, yes, but her character isn't. She is rational and makes smart decisions, knows when to stand up for herself and when to back away. She is talented and skilled af and actually does her work without getting too much help from others
It is rumored to come out in June and I think the release of the trailer and the posters will start happening shortly. It only got its broadcasting license like 3 weeks ago so I don't know how the previous dates were rumoured to be happening
I was super exited for this drama but the comments are making me question whether or not to see it. I guess I'll…
The ML here does not stalk but it is just known to be a good fan. Most of their meets so far have just been coincidences or public meetings of the two. He is not excessive with his feelings at the moment but it does come of as a tiny bit of manipulation in some cases. Both characters have so far not given me any second hand embarrassment. I dropped GGS too cause of how much i got embarrassed by that female lead. Personally, the first two episodes are a mess and don't really help you get hooked on to the story and my interest only started building from ep3 onwards
Despite Xia and Wenbo's development being weirdly quick, I am not shocked and turned away from the fact that they got married that quickly. I am from a country where the idea of relationships is not that prominent yet and marriage is preferred so I really liked seeing those scenes of their marriage and after marriage life. If they hadn't dragged Xia chasing after Wenbo so much but rather have their marriage a little earlier, it could have been so much better
When he got drunk after Xia rejected him, he said he wanted to marry her and if i am not wrong, he did not explicitly…
nevermind then, i have given up on this couple, i genuinely had hope for them in the beginning but if they wont even get to know each other before marriage, even arranged marriage would have been better
Here is my take on Wenbo and Xia (not that anyone asked for it)In my view, I kind of see them as a realistic couple…
When he got drunk after Xia rejected him, he said he wanted to marry her and if i am not wrong, he did not explicitly say he liked her. He wants to keep her close but not let her get out of his hand, it is kind of conflicting for him cause he doesn't really understand the concept of being in a relationship I wish their relationship was portrayed a tad bit better in terms of the way it was progressing. Rather than having more scenes of her chasing him and her getting rejected, if we had been their inner conflicts and a little deeper into their characters, the story could be so much better. For the third couple, they have been given a well thought out back story, which makes it easier for the viewers to connect with them despite the lack of screentime
Here is my take on Wenbo and Xia (not that anyone asked for it) In my view, I kind of see them as a realistic couple ignoring how much they have dragged their love story and how much it has started getting on our nerves. Wenbo in plain words is a simpleton, he doesn't think much outside of doing his job, taking care of his family and hanging out with his friends. It is obvious enough that being in a relationship, flirting is something that he is not focused on and hence it lies outside of his capability. Xia is the complete opposite of Wenbo, she is confident, works hard and has a social life. She dresses to impress and by assumption has definitely had a love life prior to her current crush on Wenbo..
What Wenbo seeks is marriage, something long-term and stable rather than a relationship that can be broken up just by words or a text. Xia was not something that fit this checkbox, even if he liked Xia, he knew that she would not get married to him that early ahead. Rather than realising his feelings late, he would rather ignore them in order to not be disappointed.
a small teaser released at the iqiyi world conference
you can watch it raw here
