I'm scared of not getting the novel a-li. If it's novel ye li, her character would have gone viral. Yeah, people think this is the best drama because female lead doesn't act childish nor does she speaks in a childish tone. FML is genuinely a strong character who has her own flaws, not like other female lead who are too innocent and pure. People love this drama because female lead's first choice wasn't male lead and there's no misunderstanding plot like other cdramas

Anybody feeling sad for nanheng? Because I'm (ep 10). His father is an asshole, so is everyone towards him. Everyone misunderstands him and that chui general, l hate him. Male lead is just trying to survive and take revenge against people who wronged him. If male lead wasn't this much ruthless and shrewd, he would have been killed by now. Our female lead came here without reading the full script and trying her best to survive but everything she is planning looks cruel to me. They are alike, fated to be eachother's. I hate that chui guihong (cause his success is being served on a plater but my nanheng have to suffer no matter how deserving he is) and the emperor.

I don't like slice of life drama but only watched northward for bailu and guess what! I loved northward. I even started enjoying slice of life drama afterwards. I even finished the alley romance which is another fantastic drama. So, l guess it's okay to watch a drama only because of your fav and if you don't think that you aren't liking it, you stop. It's better to watch before dropping it just because of it's genre.
