The series is one of the best xianxia, something fresh with no reincarnation trope, no annoying second female lead (if you find one then wait for a plot twist 😜). It's full of chemistry. You can feel their love, and romance oozing out of the screen. The misunderstandings here are one of a kind in cdramas, (as someone who hates misunderstanding is loving the misunderstandings here). Yes, the producer said that there is a happy ending. Spoiler: there are lots of plot twists, you will encounter the first plot twist in ep 11, till then don't believe anything what you watch. 😂. If you can watch 11 episodes then you will fall in love with this series

Just want to let everyone know that xianxia dramas used to have 58, 63, 78 episodes normally. Recently, there was a rule to make every xianxia within 40 episodes only. So getting a xianxia with 32 episodes when lots of famous xianxias are out there with 78 episodes is already like 1/3 of it. Cdramas aren't kdramas to have 20 episodes

So did you see Esther yu's xianxia drama ever finishing at 18 episodes like love between fairy and devil which has lots of dragged scenes or love game of eastern fantasy which also has a lot of dragged scenes?? As a fan of cdramas, l have seen these 2 dramas to write to you how short these dramas could have been without the dragged scenes but l'm not hating on these dramas, did l? MM is definitely great but feud is like another wind of change in the era of xianxia. First xianxia without a second female lead going crazy for the male lead, a xianxia where male lead and female lead aren't going on a trip to find a special gem or weapon. A xianxia where female lead doesn't suddenly realize that she isn't weak but powerful. I hope feud becomes a cult like tteotm is one (feud will take time cause iqiyi is kind of lockdown app, commoners don't have access to it). However, when people will watch feud, they will realise that they were missing out a banger.

I think you haven't seen enough dragged xianxia to point it as a dragged xianxia. As a fellow xianxia watcher from past 6 years, this xianxia is the only one without any dragged scene. Every scene is here for a reason. Go and watch xianxia with 40, 58, 61, 78 episodes to find out what a dragged xianxia look like. I suppose you are watching this drama to know that this drama is full of plot twists which needs plot to happen, (not someone who is watching it by only tapping on the trailers cause only a person who hasn't watched this particular xianxia will declare it as a dragged one. Feel free to get agitated
