At this point you're literally spamming
It would be good if you could analyse the situation, rather than say something as black and white. And it is to help people analyse is why soliphism5 is doing this again. And you all are still not even trying to understand her point of view even once, rather than labeling everything to black and white.

Title Fish upon the Sky Spoiler
This is the best ep ever that I have seen in months. For me this ep was full of unfulfilled expectations:
1.Starting with 'The strip dance'. And truth be told I did doubt that they would take the series into another level. lol.
2. The sweet kiss from Pi's side that we never got. Moments that I wished to murder Duean.
3. The bed scene. That was just too much man. They had been in bed for 5 hours and they didn't even kiss once. (that bite and chest touching does not count at all)
4. And for the last, the sweet confession scene that we have dreamed for the last 9 eps have been turned into a kissing rally, WTH.

Normally when I see bl series, I kind of have a feel of dipping in honey or biting chilli, but this series, I can't stop laughing to feel anything else. More than those feelings I sometimes have really felt embarrassed for Pi. But this ep have brought back the romance level to a certain height. Hope they would keep romance up, along with the humor.

I will keep posting on here because it seems all the comments are related to how uncomfy people feel about the…
This is a good series and I do agree with 90 % of your comment, but this is not the best bl, there other better ones. And if you mean that because the complexity of characters, then I would say your experience in bl industry is just from series. If you want to see the real hard core romance and complexities you should check out the bl manga and novels. There is a huge diversity in it that's going to truly meet your standards.

he purposely had him drunk......... his mom knew...... he even filmed the scene.
From your profile pic can I believe you love Wei Ying and Lan Zan, so if you are okay with Wei Ying getting Lan Zhan drunk and have sex with him(before they are in a relationship), then why do you hate Yong Jie and Xing Si's relationship that much. Both relationships started the same way. Or is it because Yong Jie is the seme, so that's why it bothers you.

the fact that the mom knew what yongjie wanted to do to his step brother..... damn ma there is a lot to unpack…
There is nothing to unpack here, mom is just 100% crazy. I knew it from 3rd ep, and have commented about it, but none of the others believed me. And the reason why Yong Jie is a bit twisted, I fully blame her for that.

(I'm on ep 13 as of now)The brothers make me so uncomfy, the fact they're brothers, blood related or not, and…
You're months late, that is why you have not seen the brother's part, and believe me when I say this this forum was really bloody at that time.
Now my opinion about it is don't compare fiction with real life man. Take fictions for what that is. And you can voice out your deslike against the characters for being step brothers but there are many real life situations like that in the world (even in this forum) and your blunt words may hurt them. This world is really big so try to be more open minded, since there are really crazy custums in some part of the world that you can't even imagine.
In this case, Yong Jie never saw this family has his own when he was a child, and he was facing some serious issues from his father's death and stay with relatives. So more than a brother he saw Xing Si as an angel that god had send for himself.(these shows start of his crazy side). And his sole wish was to make Yong Jie happy and to make him his own.
And this is a story written based on individual fictional characters, don't take it as a reference.

Also let's not forget that young brother manipulated his elder brother into a relationship by threatening him…
That's same what I have been telling you all, this is just fiction there is no need to get all worked up. If a story played as you said that he truly hating what happened and complains to the cops (real life situation), do you think anyone want to see such series. I don't know about you, if the series have turned that dark in 3rd ep I believe most are going to drop the show. So the writer showed it as like both are in love and that incident as not rape.

Not everything in life is decided by theory alone. Many things are ruled by feelings. If Xing Si didn't feel like he got raped then I don't think others have the right to comment on it. If Xing Si felt like he got raped he would have shown signs regarding it somewhere in the show. So I don't think it is rape.

Stockholm syndrome and this are totally different stuff, there is no connection between both. And this is a fictional series it don't have any responsibility to check its moral side. I believe murder is worse than rape, and they are shown in series. And this incident was not rape so there is nothing to normalize. If you do want to see real cases of rape in bl series there are shows (the effect, what the duck 2, beloved enemy, addicted)which are portryaing rape I suggest you watch those and compare with this one. When Muren got attacked we saw how was his reactions were. So in conclusion this was not rape.

And in case of married people when 2 people are in love, and if the one party didn't physically hurt the other during sex, and it was pleasurable for both, and neither the party raise a complaint regarding it, then I don't care if sex between them is rape or not.

Also let's not forget that young brother manipulated his elder brother into a relationship by threatening him…
That was not “Stockholm Syndrome”.
Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response. It occurs when hostages or abuse victims bond with their captors or abusers. This psychological connection develops over the course of the days, weeks, months, or even years of captivity or abuse.

They were in love even before they had sex, Xing Si did care about Yong Jie and it is depicted in previous eps. The love between them did not form due to single incident. And stockholm syndrome is formed within a time period not based on a single incident. And Yong Jie did not abuse Xing Si during sex, it was pleasurable for both which you could understand by checking the next morning scene. And stockholm syndrome is not some thing that is formed because of one night of drunk sex with a person whom he knew for 12 years.

That is true, they were not the always sweet bl couples like other bl series. But in hetro drama also we have such uncomfortable story line, so bl dramas should also have those, then only we could attract people who like different types. I know a person who like bl manga and novels but hate bl series because they think it is boring. So to attract different types of people we need different type of stories too, some may be dark and other may make us feel uncomfortable. And bringing out different genre is something History is good at. When I watced history right or wrong at first, I too felt uncomfortable with it, but later I liked it.

Like I said even if it is rape or not, if Xing Si is okay with it and can love him for what he is, then we viewers have no reason to oppose them. Not every relationship in this world is perfect, and this is a fiction so people do wish to see more complicated stuff than we find in real life.

If it was rape as you think, then do you think anyone will have a heart that is big enough to accompany their rapist to sleep the next day by holding his hands. I don't think anyone in the world would do that ever, so it clearly shows that Xing Si didn't consider that incident as rape. Also when he first realized they had sex, he thought he took advantage of Yong Ji because deep down he did love Yong Ji.

So true, they want the same story line with perfect seme who save uke wherever there is trouble. If the main couple ever have some problems they could not accept it in anyway. I wonder wouldn't they ever be bored watching the same story line with different characters again and again.

If I ever were going to win lottery I'm going to make novel "Stone age husband raising manual" into a series, because I truly do want a different type of bl series

That was not Rape, yes he is manipulative and he do have some mental issues. And there are many points pointing it out, but I am not going to explain all those narrow minded jerks like you, who are commenting with out watching the storyline properly.

Is this show good or not?
It is different and interesting. Kind of good show but if you are here for only romance or if you can't stand show without logic, then this may not be for you.

THIS IS THE WORST BL EVR nt sorry..first off please don't let the comments saying it's the best because we are…
Who the hell gave you the right to judge the viewers of a series you hypocrite, who have seen the series and enjoyed it and just come out to shout insults at other viewers, Mr.SJW. First understand the difference between fantasy and fiction. Just because people like Captain Jack Sparrow doesn't mean they support pirates and murderers. Just because people think Joker is cool doesn't mean they support terrorism.
That was not RAPE. They were clearly in love with each other, and that was drunk sex, not rape. They are the perfect example of 2 people who do love each other but can not express each other due to social circumstances. And yes one is a mental case, we agree and what he had done was wrong. But if Xing Si is okay with it, then what right do others have to point our fingers at them. We see films were the heroine end up with who had killed her entire family, but if that couple is okay with it, we go with flow.
And this is not a educational series, and only idiots would take reference from fiction to real life. And the other couple is absolutely perfect, they do not create "harmful stereotypes about lgbtq+ couples".
