I guess it is so terrible, since most of the audience of the series are people without 'morality' or 'idiots' who don't know that there is stuff called porn out there, so they don't have to suck with horrible story line to see the make out scenes. And that is the reason why they might have given it a good rating of 8.0. So is the people who watched the movie 'Joker' into terrorism and the one that like 'Hannibal' into cannibalism. I guess then this is the downfall of humanity.

OMG, You are so right. I never thought of it before you mentioned here, but I feel so bad about the real life couples like YJ-XS. I used to think the people who support bl series are the people with most open and accepting mentality since they could understand love in its pure form. But from this discussion forum that may be wrong. The people in this discussion forum itself may attack couples like YJ-XS in the name of self-righteousness and moral. If people can't even accept a fiction then in case of reality, it would be horribly terrible. I just pray those poor souls have the courage to deal with all of this.

If you are into bl series then you are Fujoshi or Fudashi, based your gender. Just that you may be in initial stage meaning you only watch bl series, don’t read manga or novel.

Haven’t you not have heard, love don’t have eyes. We may be attracted to someone based on their age and looks, but we don’t fall in love based on that. The right to love someone is one’s own privacy and others don’t have any right to be against it as long as it is legal. In real life we may consider neighbour elder brother as a brother more than a lover, but in films this is their common trope. But we still do enjoy those films, without comparing it with real life.

Yong Jie didn’t rape Xing Si, and there is thousands of comments on that topic, so I am not getting into it. But even if it is like that, there had been many films that are hit with worse like mass murder heroes, psycho heroes, robber heroes, some with characters who are into cannibalism, but we don’t judge films to be bad based on that. It is all fiction, and if you feel disturbed watching it then it may be not for you. I personally think it is good thing to have plots like this series, trapped, Kinnporsche, etc than always the plain old sweet romance. Or there would be no progress in bl series industry.

In case of Muren and Li Cheng, they did not fall in love because of Mei Feng, they realized their feelings because of Mei Feng. So shouldn’t we thankful for her rather than finding her disturbing. And if it is a Fujoshi or Fudashi who had written the story and the majority viewers of this series is also Fujoshi, so what’s the problem with a Fujoshi character in the series. And don’t compare it with real life, no sane person would match make their straight bosses together and tell it to other employ her thoughts, if she do wish to continue working in the same company.

Try to enjoy the series and don’t compare it with real life. This may let shows more interesting for you.

If anyone want to take a 'reference' from a fiction, then there are 100's of sweet bl series out there. And if they can't see any of those and have a prejudice against gays based on this series, then tell them to fuck off.
And if anyone had been cast out for being gay then there are legal rights to protect your inheritance and parents are obliged to help your studies to be completed till you are legally a adult.

I do support your point about mom to an extend, but I don't think she is homophobic, she was much more like panicking and freaking out to me when she found her son to be gay. Some people when they freak out, they tend to be negative to the extreme. Also she didn't disown her son or anything, didn't she. And when father supported them, she may found her confidence or relief from all, so she became more accepting.

OMG, you don't know Wei Ying of Untamed. Untamed is a bromance series which is adopted from a yaoi or bl novel called Grandmaster of Cultivation. And many of the people in this forum have Wei Ying as their cover picture and such, like Yonghe, HaruHaru08196, .. (these are the guys who are near this discussion).

He is an amazing character and is on like literary another level. It is a fantasy based novel with martial arts and such, which created a wave in China (not that I from China). It also have a anime too, based on the novel.

It may not be a genre you are familiar with but you must read it. It is kind of our primary class text book for bl fans who enter the world of bl novels.

Many people have fallen into this bl pit after watching untamed, fallen in love with Wei Ying so searched for its origin, and hence completely fallen in to be a bl fans (not my life story). And I am talking about millions of people. Anyway try watching it or reading it, it is not like these light hearted series, it is on another level with killings, murders, plot twists, action and all.

People fall in love with her character that many searched for the original novel, and a huge people are now supporters of bl community.

But in reality it is us who write the stories, it is us who support those novels or mangas enough to make it into series or anime. And finally it is us who get the entire blame if anything goes wrong. But they do forget it is us who is doing something rather than simply shouting. I am so tired of this system.

The last ep was very sweet. I missed MODC so much when the vows were said. I thought Mu Ren was so courageous to order those items to office, but after watching this ep I realized it was truly nothing compared to Xing Si's courage.
