In episode 31, when Chen Lang and Lu Jiaxue were walking on the snow, I had to pause bcs it was just too funny 😭😭😭 the way the snowfall looked so animated and their walks not being in sync with the aspect ratio 😂😂😂 it was just too funny. It must’ve been a re-shoot or something because the quality was just hella different from the other scenes.
The more i look at Madam Gu’s portrait, the more i find lady in drawing resembles Madam Chen instead! Chuckles!!!…

But how yining verbalizes/defines the relationship to other people would be a nice insight too. Like will she openly say to LSY that she was once in love with LJX, or will she say its just some fling due to loneliness. While she already told LJX that she (as mei) was ride or die with him (non-verbatim), it would be nice to see how she sums up the relationship to LSY.

Also, props to LJX actor. He looks like an angel when he smiles brightly. But my gosh, his tight-lip smile can also look very creepy. At the Luo residence in episode 23, when yining was alone at the table, i was already expecting to see him as the camera panned sidewards, but boy i still got very creeped out. Him holding a box looking like 🧍♂️ creepy af.
FL’s paternity reveal is almost there. They’re already laying out the foundation. Im just a bit concerned but it looks like the next episodes will be yixiu and linmao focused again.
I really want to believe that the baby in the intro will be our leads’, but with how 2nd master is behaving, im starting to suspect he’s falling for mother, thus the arrival of baby nan.
One thing i really like about this drama so far is that no matter how much Shao’an teases him, LSY never denies having feelings for FL.

Lady Chen has me laughing my ass off at her reactions evrytime that Liu boy would approach pretty Yiyu. I can tell that this drama is trying to pair Chen Lang and Yiyu, but I dont really feel them at all. Would be nice if Yiyu ends up with the Liu Boy—he does seem really sweet and interested toward her.
