I hope Liu Yu Ning, who plays as Hao Du, is part of the ost for the drama.
he will be singing one of the side tracks! ZLS as well , you can see them being credited in the ending credits! It is just unsure when they will be released though, but i really like LYN's singing
got to say Leo looks super good in his Qaghan outfit? i love his look in the white armour at the Shuozhou city gate with the snowy backdrop ! he really grew to be a fine actor, i rmb he was still a little boy when i saw him in another show years back :)
this is getting a bit ridiculous that ppl are complaining about the main`s couple age gap this much , for me their…
i mean honestly, why are people so fixated on the age gap? isn't it fine since the actors are doing a good job anyway? you can't always expect them to act with people of the same age group right
The chemistry between hao du and le yan is supe cute. Like I swear it got me hooked.
cant agree more !! but maybe it's also because audiences (not all but i am one of them) are suckers for classic tropes? like the princess x guard / prince x maid forbidden love kinda story lol. Despite their scarce interaction, you can really feel the sparks through their little expressions
ikr , i cant wait for Alen's next video dissing Shuyu LOL!! Yeah even Haodu can't stand him lolol . actually if you replay the scene when he dishes his sword at Haodu when he found out Changge is "dead", you will notice Shuyu almost slicing himself lmao (i noticed it after reading comments on weibo) like he can't even pull out his sword properly lol
Lol ... even he cannot stand his character in the drama. He tries hard to find something good about Shuyun. Hahaha
IKR i died laughing at how he calls Weiyu a good for nothing and he cant stand his character LOLOLOL it makes me wonder why he even want to take this role hahaahha
I saw a video on twitter and I think Princess leyan will marry shuyu... idk why but i guess that it's because…
I hope not since Lusi mentioned in her interview that her character treats Shuyu as a brother and she has a complete loveline with Haodu :D but we will see ~ i think even if he dies, it will be after they make their feelings known to each other
I don't think he resents Changge but I think it has something to do with his upbringing and it doesnt help that…
Yes definitely, I think its fair to say almost all the characters at the moment are flawed, and they might be even right til the end. No character can achieve perfection I guess? I think more importantly is for them to grow with the story and we have to be able to see their change. I think Changge will mature from her experiences, and find the "path" she seeks; Leyan having experience the hardships she faced now as a refugee will learn to be an independent & opinionated Princess; Haodu will probably learn to be less extreme/soften up and finds his own direction instead of blindly taking orders. Well at least this is what i hope for now ~ I am just hoping they update this series quicker....
I don't understand why Haodu is hunting Changge like a rabid dog. This seems personal - why does he resent her…
I don't think he resents Changge but I think it has something to do with his upbringing and it doesnt help that he is a foster child? To be able to prove his worth to his father and others, I think he has to be cruel and execute any tasks given without fail. I think we can expect some growth in his character? I mean probably its subtle but at the start when Leyan persuaded him not to kill Changge, he did hesitated and ended up helping her instead (idek what Shuyu is doing sigh)? Then in the latest few episodes, you can see that he hesitated killing Changge once again on his own accord because he was wavered by Changge's determination to protect Tang nation. Also, he later mentions to his subordinate (whom he sends to keep a tab on Changge) to only kill her if she does join hands with the Qaghans. I think in the later part, he will definitely change his mind about Changge, with one of the reasons being him falling for Leyan, but also more importantly because of Changge's volition and determination which will earn the respect of more people in the coming episodes.
but at current phase, its understandable why he isn't a likable bette xD
i have major problems with zls story. first, she's a princess right? so why was she left alone in a strange place…
ngl that there are some loopholes in this part but maybe some justification on my end that i think the drama is tryna bring across through this scene:
i think initially when the princess was sent to Luoyang there were like guards and stuff. But half way Haodu came to deliver an assignment to Shuyu at the villa or idk what place was that . In Leyan's eyes (plus she overhears), Haodu is a bad person and intends to harm Changge (his mission was to though) and Shuyu. So she decided to sneak into the carriage when Haodu & Shuyu are out on their mission so that she can warn Shuyu? If she had not do that, I am pretty sure the place she was positioned previously was well-guarded and equipped. After being discovered, Shuyu chose to allow her to tag along though and claims that he will be responsible for the Princess's safety while she tags along. When they reached the city, to avoid drawing attention, Haodu allocated the guards to Shuyu for his mission while Haodu sends her to the the rest-stop to wait for them to finish their respective missions. I tihnk at this point the lack of manpower was mainly to avoid drawing unwanted attention lest the princess may face any harm/ their respective assignment falls through. -After the princess was abducted, Haodu continues on his main quest and Shuyu was in charge of finding the princess back (since he kinda insisted he will find her back lol). but i agree it was kinda stupid he didnt stop to check the carriage or like ask whether they saw Leyan or sth? and the girl smacking Leyan? i think she wasn't aware there was someone else outside the carriage and had wanted to earn the trust from the kidnappers which will help with her escape or survival or sorts.
eitherway, it seems like with the low-profile search, the princess wont be found so soon :( if my guess is right, Haodu will end up finding her
