just had to comment because i was also like amazed & amused by the fact Sifeng being injured / stabbed and coughing up blood in almost every ep in the second half of Love & Redemption but still managed to survive in the end LOL

yeap ep14 earned my tears!!!! but there were some parts in ep 13& 14 that used the animations and it made be felt anti-climatic .... hahaa

is it only me but i hope they cut down on the animation thingy.? I get they are tryna replica the original manhua + probably saving cost / safety of filming, but it kinda breaks my flow of thoughts and emotions lol

i guess its a different character from her past roles? but as we are still early in the series, I am sure she will get more screentime in the coming episodes! I am pretty sure there will be growth in a character from an innocent to a matured princess as the series moves on. lets not forget she has a loveline with Haodu/Shuyu as well :) For Lusi to be picking up this second lead role shows that this character must be something different & interesting to her :)

based on weibo sources & some snippets, Leyan & Haodu are official couple :) so they most likely end up together. my guess is probably the one whom saved Leyan from drowning (ep 1) might be Haodu instead of Shuyu

just watched the previews and it seems like Leyan has yet to be rescued even in Ep 17 ... gosh i thought her screentime was scarce enough :( mine you a princess being missing and taking around 10 episodes + (my guess) to rescue is abit of a fetch... 10 eps in the series probably = few months in their timeline? need Haodu/ Changge to save her!!!

5 episodes in i am liking the chemistry between the leads so far! Changge x Azun , Leyan x Haodu and Changge x Leyan.

i will miss this drama and the people here now that the series ended ~ but we can expect their variety show appearance next !

Yes but i think alot of fans are frustrated with the screenwriter. It was trending last night regarding the writing :( and the jail scene will likely drag til the last episode...

I think she was evil right from the start. I had not catched up to the latest episode but it seems like she held grudges over the death of her child towards the Xu family hence her revenge? I did not read the novel so I am not sure about it, but I understand the drama is very different from the novel

Official Weibo had pre-released a clip from tonight's on demand episodes and yeap my guess was right, Concubine Qin was the one in cahoots with Ou family :) let's wait for her downfall bye

yeah the last 9 eps seem packed? With the jail scene + big boss scene and Hupo's sister backstory idk. There's still like the political agenda of opening the seagates + Erniang lol. I just hope there are still sweet scenes (maybe another kissing scene???) for the last few episodes... too much ploys and schemes :|

wow i did not see this circulating but considering how scheming the Ou family is, I am not surprised if things turn out this way. I just want to see their sweet moments after all these and them having a second marriage after the so called divorce xD

Yeah thats my guess too. I mean Shiyi & Lingyi had been through tough times and had reaffirmed their feelings through all those misunderstandings? Dont think their bond will be broken easily. The divorce might be a hoax/ out of intention to save Shiyi for whatever doom that is instore for the Xu household ?

Episodes 37 - 42 will be updated today!! I saw on their official weibo a/c and i think these are some of the points for the next 6 episodes:
- Shiyi & Lingyi are gonna divorce AGAIN (maybe the jail scene idk)
- Big boss will be revealed (guessing it's Concubine Qin)
- Hupo & her sister arc (I am not sure if she will betray Shiyi eventually?)
- Dongqing + Linbo loveline

just hoping the heartwrench will be bearable , finale week next week ~
