Yeah i was already kinda stumped they gave seokryu both cancer and depression. But then its quite a realistic portrayal bcs many cancer patients do end up getting depression/ experience changes in personalities.

But with how they are showing seunghyo’s mom, it seems her condition kinda serious cus she was made to voluntarily resign from her job + she is becoming forgetful. SIGHS another pain cus the husband thinks she’s a cheater and doesnt communicate… he’s gonna regret not knowing her condition afterwards given that he’s a doctor…

yeah they still have quite alot to cover actually 6 eps shld be sufficient i just hope they dont drag it out 🤡

And i rmb moeum also had some goal right, to volunteer somewhere far or sth.. i wonder how they are gonna wrap that up too haha

He said “아이가 있어요“ - depending on the context it can just means , there’s a child / i have a child so its kinda vague here.
On the part on coming back , i think the subs are slightly wrong on it. he said “저 한테로 왔어요” (she came to me) instead of “저한테로 돌아왔어요” (she came back to me). its a very subtle difference so i am not sure if i should overthink it.

And yes, on two ocassions moeum’s mom had blatantly mentioned he is off limits because he already has a child. So i am looking forward to how their r/s will unravel. plus, so far only the mothers, moeum and seunghyo is aware he has a daughter? i dont think seokryu is aware of that? so i am kinda looking forward how this will turn out HAHAHAH

Because for remaining 6 eps, i think more or less the r/s between seunghyo and seokryu are going on track. what’s left to resolve for the main leads are:
- seokryu’s dream
- seunghyo’s family matters (parents divorce)
- seunghyo’s memorial park foreshadow which i am guessing might be meant for his mum??
- danho and moeum relationship. I am guessing some push and pull + how moeum’s mother will react
- danho/ yeondu full backstory (i feel that theres more)

just popping in to comment that i am loving danho & moeum’s loveline and moeum is absolutely unhinged and unpredictive 😂

Also is it just me, in episode 10 when they shared danho’s backstory, during the hospital scene instead of saying “we have a child”, he said “there is a child” (but of course it can also be intepreted as its my child idk its kinda vague) + he said yeondu survived miraculously and “came to him” instead of “came BACK to me”.

AM I JUST OVERANALYZING THIS ?? at the start of the series my feeling was probably yeondu isnt his daughter maybe a niece (like the crash course in romance trope). was reading on the knets forum and alot of them seems to think like me. I AM CURIOUS HOW IS IT FOR THE MDL PPL.

somehow i understand where you are coming from, with star studded cast of course expectations are high. No doubts the veterans will deliver up to standards acting so alot of stress is on the plot, given the writer’s track records for successful works

some parts of the plots that got me confused:
- the divorce. So what was the purpose of the divorce? Because ep 10/11 now they are all so in love again. i initially thot the miscarriage was one of the turning points (plus the family) but they didnt really talk abt it or have a closure for that?
- terminal illness: if she has only 3 months to live well she doesnt look that terminal ill. and they not really focusing on the treatment plot? Idk its confusing for me
- the company. I cant believe they lose a whole organizetion just like this. what about the other stakeholders ?? legal, audit team? Is this even legal? No one thinks its a problem? hmm
- lastly the villians. I dont really see their intention or objective of robbing the queens group. I mean not like they must have a reason but the fact they show that eunseong and dahye has childhood encounter with haein and soocheol i thot there was a deeper reason for their whole conspiracy

But ok just my personal opinions not hating on this drama. i am still watching it mainly for the acting at this point #peace
