I don't think this page is for comparing dramas. Shadow Love got 8.5 MDL score even though you said the story is really bad and plot is mediocre. Maybe that's why it got below average Douban 4.8 but typical for fantasy. Now, Moonlit Reunion got 6.6 Douban score which is pretty good for a supernatural fantasy, might be higher if not such high 2 stars (17%)

I don't have access to this drama anymore but someone played a clip of that scene when Mei Zhuyu was possessed and his face transformed into a totally different character. I can't even see Mei Zhuyu in that face not even Xu Kai's face. In an instant, the face transforms back to Mei Zhuyu. It was so brief yet the fiendish character came through so memorable. Xu Kai is a master of expressions.
