what promise of working together to fight evil? that was never the plot in the drama,. maybe you got that from MDL synopsis ? which always contains errors like their ratings, which is based on the novel, not the drama.

The last 3 episodes explains a lot for me anyway. Without ep 37 and 38, the story would be incomplete.
